I remember when I was a kid we went to the Vancouver Aquarium and they had ducks swimming with the exotic fish. We could see all the fish, but everybody had their eyes on the ducks, since they were the most interesting compared to all of the exotics. The duck is an amazing animal. One of few animals that can fly, walk, swim, and dive underwater. Cheers from Canada.
This is a wonderful video, thank you! I'm watching our resident mergansers, grebes, mallards, and scaups diving and was dying to see what they look like under water.
That’s why ALL waterfowl hunters use non toxic shot!!! It’s really amazing how many ducks and geese have been saved from lead poisoning since the mid eighties. Thanks for sharing. Great video 😃😃
I've seen one of these guys at my cottage and befriended him/her him/her like to sneak up behind me InThe water I give him/her small pieces of bread sometimes I named the duck sneak 🙃🐤

Nice! Mallards rarely go all the way in the water.
Nice clip Jack. It's a pleasure to see the ducks and swans and fins hard at work without being hassled . A view most of us never see. Thumbs up!
Ducks!

Land birds rarely evolved to use wings to propel themselves underwater. But many seabirds do. That amazes me
None of the birds in this video used their wings to propel themselves. They only used their feet.
Very fascinating ducks and goose. Great swimmer.
Wow awesome video! The tufted ducks are so entertaining haha 😆

Awesome video capture showing the difference between the three.
It eats small things from the bottom with its mouth large enough to catch fish. What is it eating? Anyway it's a great video!

Swans can dive underwater when danger is present.
