Ooooh Cat + Buffy - yay!! But I agree with your assessment of previous cozy reads - usually mediocre at best (ahem, looking at you poorly written Spellshop 👀). My library got it to me early, so I already have it so will be starting soon (not behind like last month!!!), but it will mean I'll be done before our last discussions, so hopefully I'll remember the details when we get there.

So excited for this pick, I quite enjoy a cozy mystery from time to time. While the continuations to them have been questionable for me personally, I belive this one is a standalone and I can't wait to give it try.
I guess I'll choose a body count of 3, golden middle. 😅
