They look like what I thought the GTA6 characters would look like. Really Miami Vice vibes. The Angel doll is Gorgeous. The new Ken is Hot. Totally Anime. Reminds me of the guy from Fast & the furious. I always love your styling. They Rican or Cuban. Awesome video.

I was kind of on the fence about the ken and the new ken couture doll but as soon as you pointed out that he looks like a jojo character, I immediately fell in love with the look. I love how jojo characters are able to express fashion and femininity whilst still being masculine and that expression of femininity and style on ken is so cool to me. He looks amazing.
The power couple ken look exactly like Joseph (from jojo part 2) like the hair, the face and the tank top, that is a spitting image of Joseph.

Yesssss that was honestly my favorite thing about the artistry of JoJo that they are all so Bad A$$ and still able to look beautiful while obtaining their masculinity in the way they carry themselves!!! Like outside of appearance it was nothing feminine about them remotely lol so immediately seeing this Ken I thought mhmmmm I see the vision 😂⭐️ but thank you for your perspective as always 🫶🏾 I appreciate the love & continued support! Hey hey hey, they look much better out of the box I have to say. Yes, with their satin fashion they look retro to me too! Perhaps they’re from 1979. In 1979 I was 10 and I had a blue satin jacket that I never took off lol! 😂 I swear that garment was so dirty that it could probably stand up on its own.😂

Oh my goodness! Those long belts!! The only time I’ve worn a belt that long was at a historical reenactment or Ren Faire. You can tug a person around after you with those.
I have to agree they look more Hispanic or mixed than Caucasian.

Their looks are more 80's like Miami Vice, maybe early 90s imo. A peplum is a feature on a bodice/top that starts at the waist and flares out.

I only collect Ken dolls but that new one from Mattel Creations is something I’m gonna skip on. I don’t like the color blue and he does have that pursed lips going on. He doesn’t look friendly. The outfit looks really fashionable. I was excited because Ken finally got some spotlight as a special collector doll.
Yes Ken finally did get his spotlight so I felt bad his parade kind of got rained on lol but I understand. I thought he was kind of smirking or smizing as some would say but I agree the suit is fire!!!!! 🔥 not really a big fan of blue, but I didn’t mind the royal blue color on him. That’s suppose to be a recurring line so hopefully the next one fits your taste 🫶🏾 thank you for giving me your perspective!!! ⭐️

Both my sister and I bought Ken Couture. I think he looks fine. Some guys have big lips. I did hate the shoes and traded them out.
As far as “gay” Ken, it was because Ken was always a soft personality in comparison to Barbie. The whole beta male stereotype. They used to dress him in short shorts and not like the average males. He was released alongside dolls like the 12” GI Joe doll. In comparison to a military dude, he’s not going to come off strong. The Hasbro doll has a better sculpt. My Barbie’s bf was my brothers GI Joe doll.
Lastly, the Ken dolls with the hyper cheesy Chucky smile. 🤮 gross… the fact is that’s a lot of Ken’s are not good looking.
I still have a collection of 12” Gi Joe Dolls, but I’ve moved on to JHD and Integrity

I get it and I don’t like the whole hyper masculinity take on Ken because to exist in Barbie’s world he kind of has to be a “soft guy” or a nice guy lol it just makes sense where she’s the lead, but like you said pairing him up to the notorious G.I. joes which I’ve had many growing up 😂 he does look super scary or macho!
