Love the dress on you! The color is gorgeous on you too. I have that fabric from Joann in a sky blue that I haven’t figured out what to make out of it. You’ve inspired me to go purchase that pattern!
I have actually made this dress with the puffed sleeves. Also, I made two tops, one with the tulip sleeves, and one with the puff sleeves. They all came out great. I actually use bias tape around the neckline of the tops, instead of facings. They came out really good
Hello Gorgeous!! I love everything about you!! You’re such an inspiration to me!! I went out and purchased the pattern and fabric!! This dress is stunning on you!!❤️🙏🏾
SEW, I have a question... when you download a digital pattern, where do you take it to get it printed on paper bigger thank 8.5x11? I even tried the UPS ship store... they acted like I was crazy... thanks for the info
I have taken mine to a locally owned printer. They knew how to do it and now I email a digital download that I want printed. Only once did I purchase a digital pattern that was not in a format that was printed on a large sheet. I forgot the name of the print file to look for based on talking with the printer. You can call and ask a local shop. Customer service is awesome - they need the business.
@@elizabeth4053 thank you. Not even sure if there is a print shop left in our area... there is still a working newspaper. I'll check with them too. thank you

Hey Chica! I was a stay-at-home mom and now I'm an entrepreneur. I do work out at the gym. I stay well groomed because it makes me feel good. It's just been a part of my lifestyle. My mother taught me and my sisters to keep ourselves well groomed. I don't walk around in heels everyday though. 😂 I do eat more on the healthy side. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables every single day. I crave them and love how refreshing they are to my palate.
Anita is a great teacher. Sew along with her and your project will turn out nice. Don't be afraid. It's only fabric and thread. You can do it. Learn from any mistakes and keep it moving. 🦋
Hey Barbie! Trust me when I tell you this: You WILL make mistakes. It's how we learn. I always tell my students, "Mistakes are your best teachers." I have made LOTS of mistakes and I learn every single time. I still make mistakes, even though I've been sewing for many years. Have I messed us good fabric? YEP! Have I made garments that didn't fit? YEP! Have I made garments that were not flattering on me? YEP! It's all part of the learning process. The greatest challenge (in my opinion) is fitting your garments. You don't master that skill overnight. It takes lots of practice, trial and error. It's an ongoing process. I'm still learning about fit. The key is mastering the basics. So many people want to rush the process and move to higher levels of sewing without first mastering the basic skills of sewing. When you take your time and become really good at the basics, you will be better equipped to build upon that foundation. I wish you the best, Barbie! Just jump in, do the work and let your mistakes teach you. I hope that helps.

Beautiful dress but I don't want the split to come up quite that far. Lovely on you.
You can sew your slit to your desired height. When you sew your own garments, you have total control of every aspect of what you create.
Thanks Sis!!!

Hey there pretty lady! Love the dress but THOSE SHOES!!! How did you ever find the perfect match in color?
Joy!!!!!! Oh, how great to see you here, my beautiful SEW Sister. I’ve had the shoes for many years. And I’ve gotten some good wear from them.
Glad you mentioned WAWAK, I have seen them lately but was not sure about them. Their prices are very good.
Yes, I LOVE WAWAK. 💛
I'll check my patterns first, if not, I'll be ordering right away (ok.....back to the video)😊

JoAnn Fabrics. Link in description box

Double Gauze has two layers and is more opaque than bubble gauze, which is a single layer of fabric.💛 Have fun sewing your dress.

Hi Joanne. I don't know. The best think to do is make a muslin (practice garment) of the bodice to check fit.
Thank you for replying. I did a small bust adjustment on the medium, and sewed a muslin. Turned out perfectly. Thank you again.
Hey runway walk!!!!!!
Hello Anita
Does you prewash you fabric first, or is it already shrunk?
I always pre-treat my fabric to prevent shrinking.
Thank you, I learned this the hard way once.
❤️❤️❤️
Are you retired? If so, how do you keep in shape and well groomed? Do you eat a specific diet or have an exercise plan.

I haven’t sewn in years and am interested, but so afraid to spend the money and make the effort only to have it not fit or be flattering.
