    for me its the movie adaptations of Enders Game...the book is easy my favorite book of all time but sadly the movie just doesnt do it justice and i still wish for the book to be made into a 12-18 part show with each episode being 1 hour to fully understand the book and the deeper meaning of it
    ohh and long time no see :3 glad to see you still making content

    This is maybe the most disjointed show I’ve ever seen but after the first few jump cuts in time without context you actually get used to it lol

    The only reason i've watched this anime it's because of Oscar and Thinasha, from the begining they had good chemistry and loved when Oscar teases Thinasha with marriage and her refuses where quite funy sometimes, until latests episodes that she finally agrees. I liked Thinasha as a charachter, in the manga even more but that's it.

    • @RealatGabbe

      I do think They did a decent job on it for what they did just wish they didn't cut so much of their relationship's development as the jump cuts makes it feel rushed and causeless as it kinda just happens

    I read all the LNs, sad that the anime wasnt properly adapted,. I'll still watch it cause I already have all the context from the LNs and I wanna see the characters move
    I did find interesting that alot of people say that while the anime is sadly way too fast paced anime only viewers still say that chemistry between the main leads is great..thats how strong it is

    • @RealatGabbe
      @RealatGabbe  7 месяцев назад +2

      I wouldn't really agree with that the chemistry in the anime is great, it just kinda is there and got there from no where imo, It feels like almost nothing has happened to make the characters like eachother yet they still do and don't really show or explain how they got to the point where they are.

    • @RealatGabbe
      @RealatGabbe  7 месяцев назад +1

      fair, the pacing is very fast as they cut a lot of world building from the manga

    Does the Unnamed Memory manga do the LN justice so far? I'm not sure if I'll be reading any LNs in the future

      Personally i have only read the manga but i enjoy it and heard that it is a good manga adaptation from LN readers

    my guess is that without either reading or watching it (one of the very few new shows from this season i have not checked out), but just looking at the coment section and the amount of content the novels have, it seems that they wanna adapt the entire Light novel in a single season, which means only 2 episode per volume. we are now living in a time where giving an Light novel adaptation a proper pace is the norm like with Slime (yes those LN are big) they adapt 2 volumes per 24 episode season. this season Chillin in Another World and As a reincarnated Aristrocat only adapts 2 volumes. the one that is gonna be interesting is trapped in a dating sim season 2 whenever it comes out season 1 adapted 2 voluimes, but volume 3 of the LN is so dence that it is getting an entire season for itself.
    And if ever my beloved, "An Introverted Hookup Hiccups: This Gyaru is head over heal for me" gets an anime, and i mean if even tho it is somewhat popular in Japan. They are gonna adapt the first 4 volumes of the Light Novel, because that is the end of the first major story arc

  • @brianhall23

    I enjoyed the light novels but the studio adaptation is horrible. They have skipped so much that it feels empty and rushed. It is a good story but has been ruined.

    I didn’t watch the anime yet, but just how much source material from the manga and LNs has the anime already covered?

    It was not a horrible adaptation, just a mediocre one. The anime started out amazing and had potential to get up to 8-9 for me but it dropped the ball with the cut outs and it dropped to a 5-6. Still decent enough to watch through it but I imagine it's a lot worse than the manga it's adapting.
    Btw horrible adaptations are Berserk 2016 and Junji ito adaptations at least from what I've watched thus far.

    • @RealatGabbe
      @RealatGabbe  7 месяцев назад +2

      I heavily disagree, whilst yes Berserk 2016 and Junji are both not only bad adaptations and anime it is hard to agree Unnamed Memory isn't a bad adaptation aswell, cutting a good amount if not most world building from the show and making it feel like it has constant random jump cuts is awful. You could argue that the anime is decent yes as the animation is decent and although missing lots of content it is still watchable and enjoyable to some degree not like i.e Berserk 2016 but as an adaptation it is not. Bad adaptation =/= bad anime as they are not the same, some anime are decent on their own even if they are bad adaptations but when comparing them from the perspective of being an adaptation it is embarissingly bad.
