How People I Met Online Made Me Attend One of the Worlds Largest Esports Events
Most people in our current day society use the internet for one thing or another. This could be for almost anything like writing an essay at school, having a meeting at work or even watching tv. In our current day lives, the internet has turned into an everyday thing that we use and that helps us with doing regular everyday things. For me it is a bit different though. Before the internet became such a commonplace thing for everyone to use in their daily life to this extent I personally used it for most of these things.

The Intriguing World Of An Over 20 Year Old Esport - Counter-Strike

When I hear people talk about esports the first game I would think of is Dota 2, mostly due to TI and its massive price pool. Then we also have games like Valorant, Super Smash Bros. Counter-Strike also known as CS (which is what I will be calling it today) is one of the world's most popular and longest lasting esports to this date. No...

      I really don't agree. I get what people mean with the pacing being to fast as it feels like jump cuts but here are my opinions on why it is over exaggerated: 1. Pacing is really not that much slower in the weebtoon and felt just about as jarring the only thing that helped is that the jumpcuts were between chapters but due to the content in a chapter vs an episode it kinda had to be done. 2. It's still very early for the season and 1 or 2 decent (not even bad) episodes happen due to how a lot of books and mangas etc have certain awkward timings that will have to be adapted which was the issue with this episode.

    • @nico-v113
      @nico-v113 5 месяцев назад

      @@RealatGabbe episode 3 was poorly directed and amateurish on almost every front. That much is fact. I’m referring more so to the fact that the score on MAL had dropped significantly since you posted the video and specifically since ep 3 aired. If we get future episodes of a similar degree of quality then a simialr drop in score is to be expected. Only the future will tell in that regard though. It is important to note that the scores on MAL normally start high and then progressively worsen (for widely regarded shows they drop only slightly week by week, very rarely does the score go up). Since season 2 is already barely above season 1’s score and it’s only ep 3, it is very likely going to end up being a score quite a bit lower than season 1. One exception to this that I remember was Attack on Titan season 1, which had a massive upwards spike in it’s score after season 3 aired, but that only really happened because season 3 story-wise immensely improves season 1 retroactively. Also, this almost 6 years after the fact. Having read the Webtoon already, Tower of God won’t have a situation like that for season 2. So at best we can just hope that ep 3 was a major fluke and that the rest of the season is of high quality. Thus, regaining its score. An example of this would be with Gurren Lagann where ep 6 (I believe ep 6) had dramatically different animation and was widely disliked, however that happened because the episode was outsourced to a much smaller studio compared to the main studio that animated the rest. So yes, hopefully ep 3 was a fluke. Although personally, I high doubt it.

    my guess is that without either reading or watching it (one of the very few new shows from this season i have not checked out), but just looking at the coment section and the amount of content the novels have, it seems that they wanna adapt the entire Light novel in a single season, which means only 2 episode per volume. we are now living in a time where giving an Light novel adaptation a proper pace is the norm like with Slime (yes those LN are big) they adapt 2 volumes per 24 episode season. this season Chillin in Another World and As a reincarnated Aristrocat only adapts 2 volumes. the one that is gonna be interesting is trapped in a dating sim season 2 whenever it comes out season 1 adapted 2 voluimes, but volume 3 of the LN is so dence that it is getting an entire season for itself. And if ever my beloved, "An Introverted Hookup Hiccups: This Gyaru is head over heal for me" gets an anime, and i mean if even tho it is somewhat popular in Japan. They are gonna adapt the first 4 volumes of the Light Novel, because that is the end of the first major story arc

    It was not a horrible adaptation, just a mediocre one. The anime started out amazing and had potential to get up to 8-9 for me but it dropped the ball with the cut outs and it dropped to a 5-6. Still decent enough to watch through it but I imagine it's a lot worse than the manga it's adapting. Btw horrible adaptations are Berserk 2016 and Junji ito adaptations at least from what I've watched thus far.

    • @RealatGabbe
      @RealatGabbe 6 месяцев назад

      I heavily disagree, whilst yes Berserk 2016 and Junji are both not only bad adaptations and anime it is hard to agree Unnamed Memory isn't a bad adaptation aswell, cutting a good amount if not most world building from the show and making it feel like it has constant random jump cuts is awful. You could argue that the anime is decent yes as the animation is decent and although missing lots of content it is still watchable and enjoyable to some degree not like i.e Berserk 2016 but as an adaptation it is not. Bad adaptation =/= bad anime as they are not the same, some anime are decent on their own even if they are bad adaptations but when comparing them from the perspective of being an adaptation it is embarissingly bad.

      Alright, never did I think I had to explain why an anime infomous for being bad in 2024 but here we are. To start off with like i mentioned in the video let's start of with kirit... ehm sorry i mean jesus-kun and how he is completly op through out the anime for no real reason and no real explanation aside from "he played the beta" (which even if that is the case makes no sense as a lot of players that are good in a game early on fall off quickly a great example of this is valorant and we are never shown that he does any type of grinding to get stronger), he has little to no character development , no backstory and little to no emotional story. You could insert a card bord box with 2 swords into the show instead and it would be just as enjoyable. The writing is god aweful cause it just keeps having time skips for no real reason, again kirito is like a cardboard box, non of the characters are interesting and most have little to non backstory or character development. The game in it self makes no sense if you have played or have ever looked at a game from a critical standpoint anmd has horrible UI (mother's basement has a great video explaining this in more detail so to spare myself my own time just watch that) and lastly I have seen the god aweful second half of season 1 aka the alfheim arc and god I wish I could erase it from my memory as not even my 12 year old self watching SAO for the first time thought it was good. The point I was making in the video is that whenever I rewatch SAO I ALWAYS skip it due to how hourendously bad it is. I stopped watching SAO during it's 4th season and god I wish I did earlier cause I would have gotten to enjoy way more good anime if I did instead of wasting my time on the shitshow that is SAO. With that being said I am gonna go do my "clown" things and watch an actually good anime such as i.e. Frieren instead of clowning in defense of SAO.

    it might be the only anime where the MC and the love interests love arc does not end at the finally of the show but rather it keeps going and I love that.

      There are others like Golden Time if you look around enough. Funnily enough Sword Art Online is one such example, regardless of how people feel about the show. Some mangas are actually being adapted within the last few years into anime like Please don't Bully Me Nagatoro, Tomo-chan is a Girl, and Komi Can't Communicate that do continue on after the confession and have yet to reach that part of the story in their respective animes. Though, it is also common for some of those anime adaptations to stop around the confession (i.e. Love is War). Still, I do agree that it's pretty rare compared to most that just end at the confession. Still pretty miffed when Chivalry of a Failed Knight didn't get another season after ending on a marriage cliffhanger. XD

    Yeah I don't get stuck on one genre or one way of telling a story.

    Frieren is one of the most beautiful stories I have seen in an Anime. I enjoy the slower, slice of life (in a fantasy setting) kind of stories. This and Reincarnation of a Bookworm easily ranks as some of my absolute peak level anime. Maybe it is because I am just older than I used to be and savor everything in between the action scenes. Then again I also enjoyed the calmer moments back when Naruto aired in the early 00's as well so I don't think it is an age thing for me.
