Good review. I agree with the fact that the optical switches are nice. I got the first batch as well, back in January. Which Keyboard and keycaps are you using? I like they way the look. I'm currently use the ESPTiger ChengYing mousepad with Obsidian skates. I'm loving it so far, just trying to get used to the speed, hehe
A bit less than the Razer Viper Ultimate I showed in the video. I've seen people mention the Viper has a 450 mAh battery, and the Beast X has a 300 mAh battery. I didn't see that much difference between them to be honest, maybe I could keep using the Viper for 1 extra day without having to charge it. It's a bit difficult for me to quantify how many hours it lasts because I have it set to go in sleep mode after 30 seconds of not moving the mouse. I only use the mouse in 1k Hz polling, and I mostly use the mouse between 19:00 - 01:00 every day and if I charge it to 100% it would be somewhere between 3-4 days until I have to charge it again, depending how much sleep time it gets. On the 4th day I would charge it anyway just to not have it run all the way down to 0. Regarding the comments about the battery barely lasting 1 day, it most likely refers to having all the options enabled (slam click prevention + motion sync) and using it on 4k Hz polling rate. If you're going to use the mouse with 4k polling and you're playing from morning to night, then I can see it only lasting for 1 day, but I don't know what you would expect when using 4k polling, that's 4 times faster rate of data compared to 1k. I don't really know if that transfers 1:1 into battery depletion, but it's still an x4 difference.
@@SageLucas seems to be alright then at 1k, im using a gpx1 right now and i am very satisfied with the battery life which is why this mouse when all the comments abt the battery life etc kinda worried me. I ended up getting the ulx pro that recently dropped after eyeing the beast x for some time. Read a lot of good things about the ulx batt life and it being somewhat comparable to gpx so i think itll work out well, even on 4k i believe, wont truly know until i get it tho. I appreciate the long writeup brother and continue to grind broski
I thought about buying a magnesium mouse before, but the prices were pretty crazy. I'm glad WLMouse is creating competition among magnesium mice in the market. More competition is always good for consumers. Thanks for the support
I haven't used them, since my hands sweat sometimes, and I've read that any difference in moisture affects glass skates pretty easily. In any case, I never tried glass skates of any brand, so I cannot comment on them.
I've seen some people having bad experiences, but I've personally not had issues so far. I ordered some Ice v2 dots skates for this mouse from them and they sent the wrong ones, but they let me keep them, and they sent the correct ones as well.
@@SageLucas ok good to know! I saw that they have beast x models in stock which I can’t find in stock anywhere else, so I am tempted to buy one. Do you think it would be a mistake for me to buy the Beast X “old version” with only 4K and not the anime Paw edition with 8k? I also just plan on using 2 or 4K anyway. How is the battery life on yours ?
@@TheMasterTMTheMaster1507 I would personally recommend the newer models (beast x max) since I've heard that they updated the drivers and apparently the newer drivers are better for battery life. Also the beast X max has the newest PAW 3950 sensor as well. As for battery life, it's fine, the model I have has a 300mAh battery, and I only use it with 1k hz, last about 3-4 days for me, using it between 5-7 hours a day I would approximate. I haven't done any specific tests on the battery to see exactly how long it lasts.
I use xraypad Jade speed skates that are for the ninjutso sora mouse. I ordered some Tiger ice v2 dots from maxgaming, but they mistakenly sent me these xraypad skates instead and they let me keep them so I've used these so far. Idk if I would be able to tell the difference between Tiger ice or these xraypad jade skates, but I prefer speed skates, I know there are some other skates that are not as fast as these 2. I only have experience with these 2 skates and I would recommend either one, they last longer and are faster and smoother than the default skates that come with any mice.
It's an X-raypad Aqua Control 2 Sakura Pink, 900x400 size. shop.x-raypad.com/shop/x-raypad-aqua-control-ii-sakura-gaming-mouse-pads/ If you're referring to the one above, it's a Varmilo Koi mousepad, but I only keep it there because it looks cool. I don't actually use it for my mouse, because it's coated and I don't like the feeling of coated mousepads. Link (it's the mousepad with red, images 2 and 9): drop.com/buy/varmilo-koi-desk-mats

Hello there, the keyboard is a Varmilo Miya Pro Beijing Opera, and the switches are Varmilo's own EC (electrocapacitive) v2 Sakura.
Can you give me the information on the keyboard and keycap? Thank you :)
Sure. The keyboard is a Varmilo Miya Pro Beijing Opera. As far as I know, they don't sell the keycaps separately.
how long is the battery life? heard a lot of ppl saying it barely last a day lol

how are the glass skates delivered with the mouse?
I haven't used them, since my hands sweat sometimes, and I've read that any difference in moisture affects glass skates pretty easily. In any case, I never tried glass skates of any brand, so I cannot comment on them.
@@SageLucas then im probably gonna use the pre installed dot skates until they wear down and then ill try the glass skates

ref keycaps ??

Yeah my mouse too after 4 month use there is some black dots on my mouse and now more bigger than yours
I see, so it's not a coincidence. I wonder why they appeared, I don't even touch the mouse with my palm there. Where did they appear on your mouse?
@@SageLucas on base of thumb and the colourway of the mouse is same with you
whats that mousepad? (qual esse mousepad)
