Grew up in Oregon. Lane County. Unless you’ve been deep out in the woods, you’ll have no idea how vast the forest is: there are places out there that neither the Forest Service or Logging Companies are aware of. That said, my sighting was in 1998. Along the Interstate, southbound. It was unbelievable. I could not believe what I saw: a very tall creature sitting in a fetal position with hinged wrists and ankles. It didn’t compute. Immediately I thought it was a hoax or some lost soul along the freeway on a rainy night. It wasn’t. I slowed down and our eyes locked on each other as I looked out the passenger-side window. It was terrifying. The eyes were human-like, and yet they weren’t. They were far more intense. Then, it stood up and it was easily over 6 and a half feet tall, and probably about 7 feet tall. It walked off into the darkness toward the opposite direction (northward). This happened just south of Rice Hill, Oregon. It was incredibly confusing as I’d never seen anything like this. It had very long arms and legs, orange-ish hair, and a coat of hair that didn’t cover the entire body, as there were parts of the body that exposed the skin. What has stayed with me all these years has been the eye contact. It knew I was staring at it and it stared back!
My brother and I saw one in Oklahoma in 1989. It was about 500 feet from us. It was much scarier than the one they filmed in California in the 60's. Neither one of us has been hunting or camping since that day. It looked like a giant, deformed human hybrid.
I saw one in Oklahoma running across the street through the cornfield. I was a little dark at night but my wife and I can see it clearly. It was dark color either brown or black with a white patch along it's shoulder. The face looks more like a gorilla. It was tall and did not look deformed at all. It was also very fast. I would say its built more like a basketball player with muscles.
In private many paleontologists will admit that the conditions for a creature to be preserved as a fossil is incredibly tough. For every species identified by a fossil, there are perhaps a thousand that haven't left a sample for us.
Thor's hammer is correct to a point. Paleontologist's actually think for 1 type of fossil species' found there are most probably 100000 not found. For fossils to be created everything as to be perfect which is extremely rare to say the least. Thanks Thor's hammer. Respect ✌️

I seen him in 1972 ..there was no fear...why ?? Cos I was beyond scared ..just like empty space .I just sat in my sister's car watching him ..how long had he been watching us ? He finally came from around the tree. from peeking .as they do .he just stood there looking at me ..he raised his arm on a branch of a.very very old Oak 🌳..for him to do this he had to be between 9- 12 ft tall. a life time to me but how long ??Then he just left to walk back in the woods he did turn to look at me one last time ...I often wonder what happen to him ..and why my heart races and I end up crying when I think or speak of this .it happen in Columbus / Dublin Ohio

Right? Have you ever watched video footage from wildlife trails in various parts of the US and Canada? Animals immediately spot the cameras bc they’re so aware of everything in their habitat, either to evade predators or for predators to find food. Even when cameras don’t have lights on them, the animals see them, including bear, coyotes, foxes, moose, deer, raccoon....they all see them at once. So, the Sasquatch quite obviously do, too!
A guy I knew had a very disturbing encounter. He was walking along a paved road in a rural area. The right shoulder of the road went down into a gully that ran alongside the road. He suddenly heard something down in the gully grunting and rustling through the bushes. He could not make out an animal or anything but the bushes being moved around violently and he braced himself for whatever it was that was appearing to be climbing up out of the gully. He said he thought it may have been a bull since the adjacent property was a cattle ranch. The grunting and moving was coming up the side of the shoulder and continued on up onto the paved road, crossed the road right in front of him and went into the brush on the left side of the road. It was totally invisible and yet he could hear it grunting and moving. What the hell was that??? !!!
It's believed that Bigfoot is from the 5th dimension. They can come and go as they please. Sounds to me that that sighting was where it was in a transformation stage.
During the aftermath from Mt Saint Helen’s, the military was sent into assist the state parks clean up effort and found 3 of them dead by the South Fork Toutie River. And the physical evidence was given to the anthropology department at the University of Washington.
I live a few miles from that recovery / military had a very large present and a few the locals were involved but we're keep in the dark for the most part . Typical X- Files kinda thing which is atypical when the US government is involved, but there's a lot more to that action / recovery than anybody will ever know, trust me......
How come I find that if true, does not surprise me one bit. I’ve been on both the north and south sides of this mountain(St. Helens)pre-eruptions and if I were a Sasquatch, I’d absolutely love to live here! Especially the south side.
Notice that the "researcher" walks 10 feet from the road in a forest of toothpick trees and nocks on it with a stick. They need to drop off a camera crew with Seal Team 6 100 miles from the nearest human, near sightings in untouched wilderness. Then spend 30 days camping and wandering in the darkness with flir cameras while making calls and knocking.

Genetic tests on Himalayan Yeti hair showed it to be a type of bear, related to the Brown Bears, apparently around the times when the population split creating Polar Bears, another group migrated to the Himalayas and are now known as 'Yeti', they eat Yaks btw, and Yaks are massive brutes, so I absolutely wouldn't want to meet one of those bears! 😲!!!
Was in Red Creek, N.Y. and heard one every night at about 2am for over two months. There were many corn fields behind me with woods between, it was definitely coming from the woods across the street where there was a very steep drop off, so investigating was impossible, not to mention I was a little scared, being a city boy in the middle of nowhere for the first time.
I've heard them for two summers every night around 3 a.m. Don't know if they howl in the winter cause you know, our windows are shut, but I did hear one the other night at 3:25 only because I was up.
Just to add interest...the First Nation woman talked about her people believing big foot was super natural. Well, the hours of 2-3 am are considered super natural by the pagans and wiccans. They believe that's when "the veil" between this world and the next (read dimensions) is thinnest. So if you are trying to contact the great beyond, doing ceremony, etc, that's the time to do it.

I once saw a television programme, totally unrelated to crypto’s etc., that was talking about the national parks of America and interviewing park rangers about the various parks they work on. During a segment about missing persons one of the rangers actually said that people wander off the beaten paths and if they get turned around and lost then finding them quickly was essential as, after about 48 hours the chances of finding a ‘good outcome’ rapidly diminishes. He then went on to comment that there are places within the national parks where it is likely no person has even stepped foot and places that they themselves would never go due accessibility and how dense some of the forested areas are. This always gets me thinking, it’s not entirely implausible that a creature such as this, perhaps a distant relation of Gigantopithecus, could exist and survive with very little contact with humans.
The problem is Kym, no matter how big North America is, these animals are also supposed to be in peoples' back yards on a regular basis. So why no evidence of them beyond stories and very, very bad photos after all these years ? There is no DNA, scat, fur, there are no bones. Nothing. I've seen ONE mountain lion in over 50 years. Had I been looking another direction just 2 seconds I would have NOT seen a mountain lion for my whole life. In those past years I've been in their habitats thousands of hours. Ponder.

I've always been open to the possibility of Big Foot being real until the day came when an acquaintance of mine (whom we will call Pete), a concealed carrier, came across one at close range (approximately 30 yards) up in a Washington wilderness area. Pete pulled his .45 semiautomatic to fire when Big Foot yelled out in perfect english, "Stop! Don't shoot! Its just a costume!" Pete isn't a prankster or one who tends to make stuff up, so I believe him.

@RandmGye there were two sightings two years ago, in the Merriman Valley, in Ohio, USA. Two people can't be wrong. One tree is still blackened to this very day, from where the creature entered the woods after it had crossed the road.

As a Marine in Vietnam Northern, I Corps in '67 on patrol and was grunted off when we got within 40yds. 3 Rock Apes ( what marines called them) standing on a huge tree limb. At least 6 ft. or better....so we re-routed the patrol to keep these big boys on our flank. There are no large "known" primates in Vietnam. just small monkeys. Japan has a similar critter documented for many years. Semper Fidelis!!

Well I’ve seen 4 of them and heard them many times and have found foot prints of something weighing over 800 lbs because I couldn’t come close to making the prints. I guess I’m crazy. Or they trust me. They do exist.

I certainly understand.. Making the scientists take serious what myself and what many others have seen in the forests is hard. For scientists they just don't want to look into something until it has some solid proof to warrant them to get out there. Personally if some of these scientists ( and believe me and a big science guy) would just spend a 5 year period hanging with my Bigfoot research group and go with us to the places we go... I'm sure they would have a change of mind with what we have experienced. If the scientific community would just put some time into it.. they'd have their minds changed to actually put in some solid research.
Most scientist operate off grants and private donation support and feel that their sponsers would cut them off at the first sign of mental weakness .it's not that they don't believe it that they don't want to lose the green.

When you realize all this Woodland from coast to coast in relation to the well known and explored areas, it's nearly logical that these beeings have enough space to do their own thing. And if any government knows about these creatures and other phenomens, be sure they keep it under the radar of popularity. Slowly very slowly, the truth comes into the light. For me is sure, that thousands of years with experiences of native people no matter wherever on this planet, know more than we cultivated people do.

Don't worry I've seen one as well, and yes its changes your life, either want to forget it like amnesia or obsessive type behavior to the point of alcoholism and drug addiction in extreme cases because of ridicule of ones reality or grip on it. There are shows like sasquatch chronicles that eyewitnesses admit all kinds of phobias and ptsd after paradigm shifting experiences. We as humans think we we have conquered the wild, because of roads, weapons, and harnessing air, nature and science, but that should have taught us we have just scratched the surface of knowledge, and we have forgotten spiritualism from both nature like natives to the all the explanations in the bible, where most think anyone who believes something that is not proven are kooks. Bigfoot are not just deep in the Yukon, they are in every state xpt Hawaii, and even U.K. now. The one i saw was running on all fours like a bear but had long wavy hair and jumped out of a tree 20 ft. They are not apes like this show makes them out.

Im known in my circles for seeing them and everyone knows my as the bigfoot person, which you get the eyerolls, arguments, and snickers. My first sighting was in GA at west point lake with a night vision scope looking at coyote. It was in pine thicket sticking its head out looking back at us. I completely buried that sighting and just thought of them as a local thing, not that they are up near my home in VA. The one i saw in the tree was day time, 50 ft away, landed like a superhero on one fist and looking at me. The only reason it showed itself is because my dog hit on it. She was barking and looking at me back and forth very quickly to show me there was something there. She knew i couldn't see anything, so she jumped, causing the jump from the tree, it was a juvinile few hundred lbs and looked like it had no head as it ran, which was weird as it was moving like running on a moving sidewalk, way faster than its limbs seem to be moving, semi floating, it was the power of it as you could see the hair bounce every landing and the muscles in the back legs was different looking. My dog gave chase, and i called her back she stopped. If you have seen that vid of one running on all fours chasing that guy running around the field, and it crossed right behind him unaware. Thats very close to how this one looked but on the side of a steep hill and ran into a revine where you could hear it running off, then just silence.
Having started this information journey fairly recently have found alot of information. Some stuff has been on history, and America Uncovered. Researching on line has actually brought me to a point; like religion, everybody thinks there right. So I guess your going to have to look if you want to know. Just like alot of other people.
I love in a neighborhood where there are signs, although I have never seen one up close, I feel they're presences. There is no way a wind could take a sappling bend it over and tuck under vines and limbs like I have seen. Never say never.
My daughter and I saw one just a block from our house in north central Arkansas. It was 1 in the morning, we were driving home. We actually live in town but on the edges. So it was in a populated area .

they are absolute MASTERS of hiding! Native American tribes that have been around for hundreds of years have two words that they use to name them and those words translate to “hide behind”. They literally call them the hide behind. And they LIVE in the woods. Not just go there. They know it intimately.

44:50 - well there is some REALLY BAD advice. Dogs DO NOT like Sasquatch, like AT ALL. Keep your dog damn near close to you and in sight at all times in the woods where you have tree manipulations, rock stacks, and those damn squirrels knocking huge tree limbs onto other trees (it's not squirrels). Dogs, even tracking digs with the military, will often go in circles or even just sit, and not track the scent of Bigfoot. Hunting dogs too, not afraid of a grizzly bear, will wimper and hide between your lugs, in a tent, or even under a vehicle with a Bigfoot around.

There are very few current, known, large-population jungle primates we have a skeleton for. We recover very few skeletons of animals in the forests of the Pacific Northwest.

Right? Have you ever watched video footage from wildlife trails in various parts of the US and Canada? Animals immediately spot the cameras bc they’re so aware of everything in their habitat, either to evade predators or for predators to find food. Even when cameras don’t have lights on them, the animals see them, including bear, coyotes, foxes, moose, deer, raccoon....they all see them at once. So, the Sasquatch quite obviously do, too!

A guy I knew had a very disturbing encounter. He was walking along a paved road in a rural area. The right shoulder of the road went down into a gully that ran alongside the road. He suddenly heard something down in the gully grunting and rustling through the bushes. He could not make out an animal or anything but the bushes being moved around violently and he braced himself for whatever it was that was appearing to be climbing up out of the gully. He said he thought it may have been a bull since the adjacent property was a cattle ranch. The grunting and moving was coming up the side of the shoulder and continued on up onto the paved road, crossed the road right in front of him and went into the brush on the left side of the road. It was totally invisible and yet he could hear it grunting and moving. What the hell was that??? !!!

Was in Red Creek, N.Y. and heard one every night at about 2am for over two months. There were many corn fields behind me with woods between, it was definitely coming from the woods across the street where there was a very steep drop off, so investigating was impossible, not to mention I was a little scared, being a city boy in the middle of nowhere for the first time.
I've heard them for two summers every night around 3 a.m. Don't know if they howl in the winter cause you know, our windows are shut, but I did hear one the other night at 3:25 only because I was up.
Just to add interest...the First Nation woman talked about her people believing big foot was super natural. Well, the hours of 2-3 am are considered super natural by the pagans and wiccans. They believe that's when "the veil" between this world and the next (read dimensions) is thinnest. So if you are trying to contact the great beyond, doing ceremony, etc, that's the time to do it.

I once saw a television programme, totally unrelated to crypto’s etc., that was talking about the national parks of America and interviewing park rangers about the various parks they work on.
During a segment about missing persons one of the rangers actually said that people wander off the beaten paths and if they get turned around and lost then finding them quickly was essential as, after about 48 hours the chances of finding a ‘good outcome’ rapidly diminishes. He then went on to comment that there are places within the national parks where it is likely no person has even stepped foot and places that they themselves would never go due accessibility and how dense some of the forested areas are.
This always gets me thinking, it’s not entirely implausible that a creature such as this, perhaps a distant relation of Gigantopithecus, could exist and survive with very little contact with humans.
The problem is Kym, no matter how big North America is, these animals are also supposed to be in peoples' back yards on a regular basis. So why no evidence of them beyond stories and very, very bad photos after all these years ? There is no DNA, scat, fur, there are no bones. Nothing. Anyone who tells you otherwise needs to cite the scientific peer reviewed independant journal its analysis appeared in.

I've always been open to the possibility of Big Foot being real until the day came when an acquaintance of mine (whom we will call Pete), a concealed carrier, came across one at close range (approximately 30 yards) up in a Washington wilderness area. Pete isn't a prankster or one who tends to make stuff up, so I believe him.

As a Marine in Vietnam Northern, I Corps in '67 on patrol and was grunted off when we got within 40yds. 3 Rock Apes ( what marines called them) standing on a huge tree limb. At least 6 ft. or better....so we re-routed the patrol to keep these big boys on our flank. There are no large "known" primates in Vietnam. just small monkeys. Well I’ve seen 4 of them and heard them many times and have found foot prints of something weighing over 800 lbs because I couldn’t come close to making the prints. I guess I’m crazy. Or they trust me. They do exist.

I certainly understand.. Making the scientists take serious what myself and what many others have seen in the forests is hard. For scientists they just don't want to look into something until it has some solid proof to warrant them to get out there. Personally if some of these scientists ( and believe me and a big science guy) would just spend a 5 year period hanging with my Bigfoot research group and go with us to the places we go... I'm sure they would have a change of mind with what we have experienced. If the scientific community would just put some time into it.. they'd have their minds changed to actually put in some solid research.
Most scientist operate off grants and private donation support and feel that their sponsers would cut them off at the first sign of mental weakness .it's not that they don't believe it that they don't want to lose the green.

Don't worry I've seen one as well, and yes its changes your life, either want to forget it like amnesia or obsessive type behavior to the point of alcoholism and drug addiction in extreme cases because of ridicule of ones reality or grip on it. There are shows like sasquatch chronicles that eyewitnesses admit all kinds of phobias and ptsd after paradigm shifting experiences. We as humans think we we have conquered the wild, because of roads, weapons, and harnessing air, nature and science, but that should have taught us we have just scratched the surface of knowledge, and we have forgotten spiritualism from both nature like natives to the all the explanations in the bible, where most think anyone who believes something that is not proven are kooks. The one i saw was running on all fours like a bear but had long wavy hair and jumped out of a tree 20 ft. They are not apes like this show makes them out.

Im known in my circles for seeing them and everyone knows my as the bigfoot person, which you get the eyerolls, arguments, and snickers. My first sighting was in GA at west point lake with a night vision scope looking at coyote. It was in pine thicket sticking its head out looking back at us. I completely buried that sighting and just thought of them as a local thing, not that they are up near my home in VA. The one i saw in the tree was day time, 50 ft away, landed like a superhero on one fist and looking at me. The only reason it showed itself is because my dog hit on it. She was barking and looking at me back and forth very quickly to show me there was something there. She knew i couldn't see anything, so she jumped, causing the jump from the tree, it was a juvinile few hundred lbs and looked like it had no head as it ran, which was weird as it was moving like running on a moving sidewalk, way faster than its limbs seem to be moving, semi floating, it was the power of it as you could see the hair bounce every landing and the muscles in the back legs was different looking. My dog gave chase, and i called her back she stopped. If you have seen that vid of one running on all fours chasing that guy running around the field, and it crossed right behind him unaware. Thats very close to how this one looked but on the side of a steep hill and ran into a revine where you could hear it running off, then just silence.
I sure get tired of the people who say there is no evidence. I've not had a sighting, but the things that have happened to me are proof to me.

44:50 - well there is some REALLY BAD advice. Dogs DO NOT like Sasquatch, like AT ALL. Keep your dog damn near close to you and in sight at all times in the woods where you have tree manipulations, rock stacks, and those damn squirrels knocking huge tree limbs onto other trees (it's not squirrels). Dogs, even tracking digs with the military, will often go in circles or even just sit, and not track the scent of Bigfoot. Hunting dogs too, not afraid of a grizzly bear, will wimper and hide between your lugs, in a tent, or even under a vehicle with a Bigfoot around.
My own experiance with my golden retriver strongly suggest bad outcomes between big foot and dogs.
