Hey I’m that guy that qualified P1 & won the semi final race. Was making good progress until I got spun out around lap 5 and ended up finishing P5. Great footage!
Well I don't sandbag the prelim race anymore, and got a slow kart for the final race. Wasn't expecting a 2-month old kart to already have engine issues 😔
Lapped cars always ruin the racing unfortunately. That’s why you don’t see me racing the Ironman series. Loads of amateurs against pros like you and they’re not out there competitively and don’t consider other people racing for wins. Great job getting P3
Thanks! 'Ruin' is a bit harsh - there weren't any blue flags shown, so they have no idea what's going on. And making clean, decisive, and quick passes is a part of my race craft that definitely needs improvement.
