So far with my testing it has been strange, I have mainly being wearing it on clothes. This way I really pick up on sweet vanilla resins rather than the airy floral opening from the edp. I thought too it did not project or no sillage. In work last week when wearing reflection 45 I went to see a colleague at other end of office. When I came back to my desk I got a smell of something amazing, I was wondering what an earth it was and eventually realised it had to be my own sillage from sitting at my desk a few minutes ago still lingering around that I had walked into.
@@razvanyke Unfortunately It does. The more potent and complexed the more time it needs to sit. 45 is kicking my sinuses after a month. Initially 10ml out in a decant so more air is in the bottle (tip from Amouage parfumery). New batches of Reflection man are so bad. Don't wanna waist money and have to spray like 10x. Online seller here in eastern Europe, prices: 160€ Reflection man,245€ Reflection 45.

I appreciate your position. Owning Reflection Man, and thinking about how much Chris (FRAG-MENTAL) wanted Aaron Hughes to be as well impressed by Reflection 45 Man, but obviously, that wasn’t the case, I think my choice still holds.👌
Hey Nikos, thanks for the feedback. I think RM the EDP, the one done before with the Lilial was the nicest from Amouage with this "Le Male" DNA. The current one is also nice but fleeting and somehow too "sour" for my taste. I like Chris and Aaron too, nice choice : )!
I did the opposite - after getting the Reflection 45 and living with it for 2 weeks, I sold my original Reflection. The 45 works so good on my skin, specially in hot/humid weather. Sillage is good too, though less than the EDP - but that's with any EDP vs Extrait, so expected. I enjoy the slightly toned down florals, actually. I find the 45 absolutely stunning, and made the original redundant for me. I think hot weather would make this fragrance truly shine.
By shoulders I mean on the clavicles, under the shirt, as advised by ROJA in one of his videos. Try this method :) ! I gave up on Reflection 45, it´s not for me

I’m from Oman and I agree with you, I tried the reflection 45 but can’t justify the high price tag unless it’s a screaming beast needing 3-5 sprays then it would’ve been a great investment. I suggest getting regular reflection and over spray or take a travel spray.

I love Omanluxury they remind me of the classic amouages, I would suggest you sample ‘khanjar’ it’s one of the best oud frags in the market with a very reasonable price.
Razvan, I agree with you. I love the original Reflection Man from 2006 before they reformulated all their fragrances. I also agree with everything that you said about Reflection 45. I like the fragrance but the price is too high and I prefer the scent of the original Reflection Man. I always appreciate your honesty & thoroughness with your fragrance reviews.

What’s the issue with the “new packaging” Reflection Man 45 and the “old Pacckaging” Reflection Man 45? It’s fairly new in my eyes, so is there really a reformulation? I can’t figure out what this “new packaging” entails and I see it everywhere. Are they talking about Reflection Man versus Reflection 45 Man? Somebody let me know
Hey, let me explain :D There was before the square and slim package for both R45 and RM EDP .. now all the new batches are in the new Packaging. I do not think they reformulated the R45, it´s too new to have been reformulated .. however the RM EDP was for sure changed. Hope this helps :)
No they changed the boxes to the fragrances. They made them bigger. Reflection 45 had a smaller box before along with regular reflection. The new boxes are just bigger not sure about reformulation.
I agree 500+ is ridiculous, I own prada Lhomme which is similar but not as good. I was able to get my hands in a Reflection 45 bottle second hand at 75% Maceration ? This thing projects/ preforms better then my sample.. I took a shower and this thing is screaming at me 😂 260 I dont regret ( old packaging)

It may not have beastly projection but it’s my favorite perfume ever… quite expensive but I had to buy it. Love it ❤

If you put it on your skin it will probably project better. You said you sprayed on your shoulders. Skin projects better especially with extraits.
