Here is a video of the Goodyear Blimp (Spirit of Goodyear) taking off from Don Scott Airfield, Columbus, Ohio, heading towards the Ohio State - Michigan game.
Hi all, Thanks for all the comments, I posted the whole video (I didn't have clipping available when I first posted this). Also, I wanted to document the whole take-off procedure. Second, Those aren't my kids providing the commentary, That was a mom with her kids who came to watch the airship, The hardest part for me recording was when they started kicking the chain link fence I was leaning the camera against!
This is a great video. I'd suggest some clipping though; it isn't necessary to hear your children chattering for 8 minutes before the blimp moves at all, or to see you drop the camera at the end.
They need ballast I'm suprised that it was that easy to take off without it. ooh and lady talking about it's funny how 2 guys were holding it down. When it's filled with hydrium it's lighter than air if they wanted to 1 guy could hold it down.

best zombie air vehicle
Great airships, and powered by two Porsche 911 aero engines which are not far removed from the ones fitted in cars.
How loud is the take off in person?
Oh my gosh Im so jealous I could die!!!!! Id love to just get close to it. Its very special to me!!!
@petebear12000 and it's they're, as in "They are", not their as "the party is at their house". And I call them blimps as well.
