Thank you so much for the detailed explanation sir. I have learned financial reporting with the help of your videos and I have passed FAR 😄
Did you use open tuition resources alone ?

GOOD
14:03 killed me!🤣😆 Loved the emphasis.
Super
The 100% of the total asset peter 2500+steve 1200 you got 2700 instead OF 3700. please explain
you don't include the investment worth 1,000
I have a question hope you can answer. Our parent company owns a Holdings which on another holding with an investor with 30% equity. For me to roll in the 2 holdings financials into the parent and remain balanced, looks like I need to bring in the investor equity into the Equity section of the Parent financials. Is this right? Thanks in advance for your help
Great
if you do that give up don't bother walk away hahahahaha that harsh @openTuition
is it wrong in video?
in 9.33 how the tital in Group comes to 2700. i know investment in subsidary 1000 will not come. Even after that other assets of peter is 1500 and of stevan is 1200 makes 3700 and not 2700.
is it mistake in video or in conceptual, please anyone resolve it
Do you follow Kaplan or bpp study text in these videos?
If not, what are the differences in your course and theirs.
Our videos are working through our own lecture notes that you can download free of charge from our website.
All of our tutors have been teaching many years for BPP or Kaplan. They charge for their courses whereas we charge nothing for our courses.
@@opentuition THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PROVIDING IT FOR FREE IS THERE ANY LINK WHERE I CAN MAYBE DONATE TO YOU GUYS CUZ YOUR RESOURCES HAVE HELPED ME A LOT.

when looking BBP book, they just don't cancel the investment in the subs. what they do is the deduct the subs equity (share capital and reserve) from the investment on subs and the difference is Goodwill. Dont understand the difference
This is in fact all explained in our lectures (and in our Paper FA lectures as well because it is revision of Paper FA). However it is better to ask in our free Ask the Tutor Forum on our website, Our tutor do not monitor posts here but always answer questions posted on our free website.
How about consolidating an income statement.
why are the 2 share capital not combined?
Can someone please explain why P doesn't own 100% of S retained earnings instead of the portion of retained earnings after acquisition?
as I can understand, if P acquired 100% of the equity share capital of S, P own 100% of S's retained earnings. But if P only accuqired 80% of the equity share capital of S, then P only own 80% of S's retained earnings. P own the % of S's RE based on the % P acquired of S's equity share capital. (not sure this is what you wanna know but hope it helps a bit for you:D)
Thanks ❤ ⅕²²⁴
PUT THE VIDEOS IN ORDER PLEASEEEE 🥺🥺
Would love to follow your tuition but random order confusing me sir
If you go to our free website then you will find them all indexed (with links) in the correct order!!! Presumable you went to the website in order to download the free lecture notes that go with the lectures so I do not understand why you did not check all of our other free study resources for this paper instead of complaining here!
