Organist Daniel Ficarri performs Louis Vierne's Carillon de Westminster live as part of the 2021 New Year's Eve Concert for Peace at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, NYC. The piece is performed on a Walker Technical organ installed in the space while the Cathedral's Aeolian-Skinner is being cleaned after a minor fire in 2019.

I didn't know there was another fire at this cathedral. I'm glad it was not as bad as the one a few years ago! What is the model of this organ? It really sounds very nice! It doesn't sound like a digital organ to my ears. :-)

Not bad for a digital organ. When will the real organ be back home? And will the State Trumpet be back as well?

Hopefully by Palm Sunday 2024… unfortunately reinstallation of the State Trumpet is waiting for restoration of the rose window and surrounding stone… no date set for that at this point.
