    Do you leave those jugs outside with the seeds in them all thru the winter months??? Or do you just plant the seeds in them and put them outside like in March? Just found your channel and I’m having a blast binge watching a bunch of your videos!! Great job!!

      I love this message so much and I think I love you too. Thank you so much for watching and for loving me that is huge and I appreciate it. So as the seedlings grow, you leave them alone, watering them and adjusting the light I am getting ready to put together a video series on this And will explain step-by-step what to do

    Great video! 🌱 Where did you get your shelf from, where you put seedlings on? I’ve been trying to find one as big as that that doesn’t break the bank. 💛

      Thanks so much! This message is so sweet. Thank you so much that is my goal. I feel like there are so many people afraid to try because it’s been made so complicated and it’s just not to me if you go into it with the attitude of even if my seed doesn’t germinate or my plant dies I can try it all over again, and, I’m going to give myself some grace it just helps so much. Even the best gardeners kill plants even the most seasoned gardeners plants don’t do right or get disease or get sick. It happens at no fault of the gardener most of the time.

    I have all these little seedlings and now it's going to be fun trying to put them in the actual garden and have them look nice. I started to make a list of all my plants and their heights so I know where to place them.

    Thanks for great video. Newbie here to seed starting! 2 questions: What do I do about fungus gnats? What to do when certain seeds lag behind others in the 72 cell packs. My dilemma is when to remove the dome if all seeds aren’t sprouted? I tried to group like-germination-rate plants in same tray, but some seemed to be late bloomers literally.

    • @rebeccaramsey1274
      @rebeccaramsey1274 6 месяцев назад +1

      Hopefully someone with more knowledge will see this but I have the same issue with the large trays. I like the smaller ones that I've found on Amazon. For the large ones though, I find some sprouts can handle being under the dome for a bit, just watch them for sliminess. When you absolutely have to remove the dome, if you make sure your unsprouted seeds stay moist they can make it!

    • @thesoutherndaisyllc
      @thesoutherndaisyllc  5 месяцев назад

      It’s bound to happen sometimes with some lagging or not germinating at all. If the ones that did germinate are getting bigger remove the dome. It’s not going to hurt anything. Jusy be sure you check the moisture often (daily). The seeds will still spray without the dome.
      Does that help?

      Fungus gnats sprinkle mosquito bits on the soil top (Amazon) and get the yellow gnat sticky traps also Amazon.
