@@adventurefishinguk you have lots of lochs in the trossachs area that have pike perch and trout in them stunning area i fish lake of monteith there but also love the wild fishing you have loch baa and achlaise that are opposite sides of the road as you head up to glen Coe loads of trout and some good perch to 4 pound in them free to fish aswell

Really enjoyed this video. As soon as I saw that waterfall I recognised exactly where you were fishing. I go camping around that area each summer It’s a cracking wee burn there’s wild trout all over that small river as well and the occasional salmon parr. There’s another wee river further down it runs into which is great. Loads of deep holes. If you want to know other places around that area just let us know. Cracking video as always 👌👌

I find the best boots are always Army surplus there's plenty of Army Surplus shops online. One pair i got where Russian Para Boots they had real wool lining and where very warm and water proof and protect your ankles. One pair i had over 10 years.

I fished that area 4 years ago...was up there for 3 weeks...creepy noises at night.. but decent fishing.. the area with the lilly pads is good for bobber fishing (not my favourite type of fishing) . In Canada we call them speckled trout..that was a nice one...good on the grill. Sorry, i thought that was Dunkeld...😂
Has the little one caught or helped reel in any fish? Earlier they get an interest the better in my opinion as I'd hope in future they continued the tradition and get out into nature and healthy exercise.

Hi M8 awesome content and fishing with the family is a massive plus. Im more of a fly fisher but at the moment spinning seems to be getting a lot of trout and salmon on my local river. Can you suggest a good rod and real combo to fish for trout and salmon? Preferably a telescopic as I would like to still have the option to fly fish but can pack the spinning rod to my side and get it out quickly if needed.

Look on the maps fantastic lochs in the highlands the bigger lochs hold good size trout and pike .follow the streams of these loch have great joy with smaller trout and then these streams will lead you into remote lochs for pike be prepared to hike .tip for 1 places is glascarknock

My favourite trout lure that savage gear spinner in the black colour. I've caught so many 40-50 cm wild browns on that lure along with big rainbows

Do you only use lures on these trips? I haven't seen you try a classic reliable fall back, the famous garden worm or the humble maggot, I do know alot of places are strictly fly or lure only.
I mostly use lures, occasionally i'll mix it up a bit though!

They don’t sell extensions unfortunatelyZ just a small one, however a new version with a deeper net. The bigger ones were discontinued
Hi M8 awesome content and fishing with the family is a massive plus. Im more of a fly fisher but at the moment spinning seems to be getting a lot of trout and salmon on my local river. Can you suggest a good rod and real combo to fish for trout and salmon? Preferably a telescopic as I would like to still have the option to fly fish but can pack the spinning rod to my side and get it out quickly if needed.

Look on the maps fantastic lochs in the highlands the bigger lochs hold good size trout and pike .follow the streams of these loch have great joy with smaller trout and then these streams will lead you into remote lochs for pike be prepared to hike .tip for 1 places is glascarknock
