Do you like Brian’s postcards? I just paid $2000 to the postcard mania. Btw I bought your course while I was in the hospital when my wife was having our second baby! I haven’t finished it yet tho.
I see you in there... thanks so much for your support! I've updated the course to now include the fully editable template of the postcard, so make sure to snag it and test it against your other post cards... just keep testing and learning. Congrats on the new kiddo!@@HunterBogue-oz6wl
the link will not go on my computer however it will on my phone. Also, how come Canva is such a pain in the rear end. the only way you can receive help is via email and they keep changing help folks and giving different works to make it go I have been fighting them for over a week now. They printed originally the wrong cards did not add the back just the front on both sides and then would not refund or re-print because of their messup. Now I had to pay once again but they still won't help right other than giving different directions from each person. If you have tips please let us know
Hey Johnathan, great video man! It would be great to see more videos with you bidding upsells and administrative stuff too, with regard to staying organized with expenses, equipment maintenance, etc.
I will be getting all new stuff this year.Going to make a postcard similar to yours and get rid of the flyers I have. The ones I have now are just like you described as terrible. I am getting a completely new company to make new shirts and everything else had made. The last place did stuff not very good or professional. I hope once I do this I am telling you my business is doing alot better than now. With what this one company made I feel like they see me as just another guy. I hope this new setup does alot better.
I’ve used postcards and door hangers. I have really good luck with them weather they say one thing or the other. I’ve even tested crazy colors together. They all have the same return. I’m not trying to get lawn care though. Just Christmas lights and landscape lighting.
Hey, everyone. heres some food for though to piggyback and to go along with this. Also, for post cards hand out on a 5 around as well as some business cards. As far as postcards, also take them to the post office and pick a route/neighborhood you service and have them deliver a couple of times to keep you at the forefront of homeowners. Then, move to a new route/neighborhood and repeat. Yes 📫 can be expensive upfront, but your ROR will overcome it. Just an 💡 idea J. I hope you don't mind me putting this out

Man, you don't know how much I appreciate you noticing. I am using the rode nt usb mini. I went back and forth on many different options, but decided it was best for me due to its clarity and simplicity. Again, thanks for letting me know... let's me know it wasn't all in vain! 😊
What and where did you built your webpage? Can I ask where you did? Can you recommend it? I’m literally working in this particular. Thanks. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences that save me a lot of time effort and blood. I’m literally using your way in order to get more clients in the neighborhood that I live.
I have a video planned in the future for this subject. Until then... networking with business owners, chamber of commerces, and delivering professional estimates with speed and competitive pricing is what wins commercial work.
I know you play in stock market or invest. Would love some content on that stuff and how lawn are helps you with it. I am looking into dividend investing.
I don't invest in the stock market other than for our retirement. Our retirement portfolio is pretty aggressive, as we still have many years of investing ahead of us. The truth is, I feel I can get a better return on surplus cash by reinvesting in my business.
Thanks for the video! I’ll be purchasing your postcard template and making it my own. Do you recommend paying the post office to mail these out to specific zip codes or just delivering in the front door or mailbox flag in areas I want to do work. I looked into the post office and it can get pretty pricey …
the cancel anytime do you allow them to just cancel say after you just serviced and its the first week of a month or middle month and still bill for the whole month or is it that cut and dry and they say stop and you stop and that service is all that is billed for? If i remember your do card on file so your billing after each service even if someone would say they are a montly client?
I have a disclaimer in my estimate they must approve that says our service is not valid for one time cuts, meaning, we're not coming to do a property cleanup and then you cancel service on us. We require cards on file, so this weeds out anyone who may be looking to take advantage of us... But I have never had anyone take advantage. If people are going through the hassle of hiring a lawn service and putting a card on file, they legit want the service.
I either place them in the mailbox slot, the door jam, or if they don't fit in the door jam, i punch a hole and use a rubber band to make a door hanger with it.
Videos are great, but $39 for the template is complete price gouging. The rest of the stuff is not priced as bad, but the $39 is a complete turn-off, bro. Why not price it at $9 or even $19 to get people in the door w/ massive value and hope they buy more stuff first? The way this is set up to me it screams greed.
You are actually the first person who says $39 for a proven plug and play piece of marketing material is high. Not only will it save you at least 5 hours from trying to create it yourself, this postcard has been split tested against other post cards for 5 years. That's right... I've worked on this for 5 years. So, I want you to do me a favor... Forget the 5 years I've been working on this... I just want you to divide $39 by the 5 hours it will take you to create it... If you are truly trying to explain to me that your time is not worth more than $7.80/hr, I'm not sure I will ever be able to help you. Good luck, though!
Hope this video helped you. Here’s a postcard resource if you want to plug and play: www.turfprosacademy.com/post-card-template

Great video sir. I’m ugly so I’ll skip the picture recommendation but the rest was good 👍🏼

Hey partner, that’s what this channel is about. An open forum so everyone can learn. Thanks for your insight.
@FloridaTurfPros absolutely, and you're welcome. I'm just sharing what I've learned over the years after re-starting after service time
😊 Great content.
We havre been discussing route density today. Mailing out Postcards this season, the trick would be on the frequency to send.
Thanks.
Repetition wins. I rather market to 1,000 people ten times, then 10,000 people one time. Remember that.

Jay Yorty built mine.
Would fridge magnets work? Plus you can stick it on the metal door. Business card size.
Good video. To get commercial work would you do anything different or does this apply the same?

I prefer using these as five rounds during the season. Put them out once a month to the five Neighbors surrounding your current clients home.

Best place to print out the postcards?
Do you put them in peoples doors for fives arounds or have door hangers for that?
Door jams
Thank you. Who do you use for printing these ? I’m in Central Florida and brand new. TJ.
I use vista print, and I've heard you can just use Canva to print directly which I have not done yet.

Yes it's mailable, but we use them for 5-arounds.
Do you also do door hangers??
I either place them in the mailbox slot, the door jam, or if they don't fit in the door jam, i punch a hole and use a rubber band to make a door hanger with it.
