iCloud Photos Only Files in JPEG Format Can Be Uploaded
While trying to upload photos to iCloud photos using iCloud web, we often see this error in iCloud Photos, Only files in jpeg format can be uploaded. iCloud Photos on the iCloud.com website allows only JPEG or JPG format photos to be uploaded. It's not possible to upload any other media format such as videos, PNG, GIFs, or hiec. We'll need to convert any other format of image to jpeg first.
To do so, follow the following steps:
Get inside the folder containing your images in another format
Create a new text document and name it anything
Open the text document and type in
"ren *.png *.jpg" to convert png to jpg
"ren *.heic *.jpg" to convert heic to jpg and so on...
Now, save the file in the same folder containing your images
Rename the file by changing the extension of the text document from .txt to .bat
Run the .bat file by double-clicking on it.
All your png or heic images in the same folder are converted to jpg.

No warning after changing it to .bat so didn’t work … Don’t waste your time with this one people
