My father is the guy who does the bit at 1:03. (David Kidd, very lovely dude) And i might be biased, but people in these comments who are hating, this is one video, its quite good, but it also doesnt show the pure talent of every one of these men in their own right. They may not be freddie mercury, but they arent rock singers either! They are all classically and musical theatre trained tenors. Theyre gonna be differnt. These blokes performed in royal albert hall, met oprah and jimmy barnes and many more, they recorded in abbey road studios, theyre all very talented.
I have zero technical knowledge in music or something, but your dad have an incredible voice, I am very impressed and his voice has similarities with Freddie Mercury's voice.
I'm a singer, not even near the quality and clarity of Freddie, but to even know that there's another male SOMEWHERE in the world that hit the same notes as he did is WAY COOL! Yes, Freddie, God rest his soul, was amazing. The fact that a group of men HONORED him by covering his best known song is wonderful. Remember, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" - so if you're a Queen fan, be flattered that they honored Freddie. Their notes might not have been perfect, but it was in homage!
Rainmaker65 - An absolutely legitimate statement, I am unhappy that I have only just discovered this team! Freddye was a genius, but these boys aren't just anyone!
I don't get why people are so mean and so empty!!! This was an absolutely extraordinary performance. Not that they needed ten man, they wanted 10 man. It was so much more then Freddie. It was an unbelievable work or art. For those who never sang on a stage, or in a real vocal group, you have no idea how hard is this to be put together so perfectly.
This is one the many examples why Freddie is the KING. Nice cover, nice singing yes. But when Freddie started with: Mamaaa I've killed a man .. we could feel it.
LOL. I knew immediately what you meant. As if Freddie would be singing with a bunch of tenors. They just don't 'have it'. No 'it' factor for me. My opinion, however.
Truhlik8I: I agree. Everytime I hear the song, I think of Freddie -- regardless of his choice to live his life HIS WAY. There are always streets & avenues. Which way was he going? I also agree that it had no person to take the guilt but himself.
It's more than enough or probably way better than the original. the voice qualities are really good... Freddie isn't the only in this song. He got many back up singers. Lol
@@felipenocedal3948 You might be able to hit the notes, but can you unleash the song's magic like Freddie did? They are two different things, you know.
ignoring comparisons, all the leads are exceptionally amazing soloists. nobody understands how much effort it takes to reach their level of singing ability. i really don't care if the original singer is better, it doesn't make this performance worse, it just makes it different and i beg you to give a singer the respect he deserves for putting such huge amount of effort into his craft. this is a really amazing cover that shows each singer is amazing in his own right with his own unique voice.
Nah they don't NEED 10. They're called the Ten Tenors and they have ten people in the group, they could've done 3 if they wanted. But yes I do agree that Freddie Mercury, just Queen in general was amazing. R.I.P.
On the beginnig I thought...hmmm...another boring cover, but then...the choir part is perfect, and that change to ABBAs' Mama Mia totaly got me :-) Great :-)
In my humble opinion (after seeing Queen videos like at least once a day), I can say that they singing good. The different is they singing with 10 people but Queen singing with ONLY 1 person. ☺
gomesjs no, he did all the voices, check it out on wikipedia. The song begins with a close five-part harmony a cappella introduction in B♭-entirely multi track recordings of Mercury although the video has all four members lip-synching this part. The lyrics question whether life is "real" or "just fantasy caught in a landslide" before concluding that there can be "no escape from reality."
esquivel100 I checked now on wikipedia, and there's written that all queen members recorded the voices.'According to Roger Taylor, the voices of May, Mercury and himself combined created a wide vocal range: "Brian could get down quite low, Freddie had a powerful voice through the middle, and I was good at the high stuff."'
Great tribute; great version. Some people just need to take a chill pill and ENJOY. I sure did. Freddie is STILL great and NOBODY will EVER sing like him. These guys are NOT trying to complete with him. This is just a COVER, people. Or you're gonna tell me you never ever sung the song in the bathroom because Freddie was THE BEST at it? Relax and enjoy. They did a GREAT job. Haters, you're up.
@kazuyamochu Why don't you just regard this performance as a compliment to Queen, who actually did use the studio to enhance the sound by overlaying tracks. That doesn't mean that Queen's performance was not the best of this song. Freddie Mercury was a genius who I think would be proud people want to sing his song.
Why all the damn comments about "they cant match freddy" , "10 tenors for 1 freddy!" Jesus people they did an amazing job, and remember, freddy mercury wasn't the ONLY fucking person in bohemian rhapsody
Guys seriously shutup with the pathetic comments. If you sung a cover of your favourite artist, you'd want people to enjoy it and not compare it. Grow up.
I 100% agree with you. This is an excellent cover! Very talented singers who used their own styling on the song. NO ONE will sing the song they way Mercury did, period. Enjoy Each cover as it is the first time you have heard the song...
As a lifelong professional musician, I find Freddy Mercury's music pure genius. However, it took a huge supporting cast for live performances because of the innovative use of effects in the studio to produce the sound on the recordings. I have seen many groups, and choir/orchestra ensembles do "Queen" and it took every ounce of their talent to duplicate the effects Queen used in the studio. Genius, none the less.
By far THE best vocal rendition of this song that I've ever heard. Wow. Other than the original of course. I think Freddie would be proud of these guys, except for the part where they randomly injected ABBA into the song. O.o
My father is the guy who does the bit at 1:03. Maravilhosos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brasil?
Queen 👸 is fabulous. Tenors are wonderful
240p? What is this new and exciting technology????
2007, good ol' days... I'm more worried about the song... ;)
@Gary Youre a dumbass.Freddie Mercury didnt catch AIDS until the 1980's.This song was written in 1975.
Goosebumps. through the whole song.
I don't get why people are so mean and so empty!!! This was an absolutely extraordinary performance. Not that they needed ten man, they wanted 10 man. It was so much more then Freddie. Just perfect , beautiful !
QUEEN & ABBA!!! WHAT A COOOOOOOL TURN OF EVENTS!!!
This is one the many examples why Freddie is the KING. Nice cover, nice singing yes. But when Freddie started with: Mamaaa I've killed a man .. we could feel it.
Actually, Freddie was the Queen.
The lead singer in this video is actually David Kidd. Freddie Mercury has been dead for some time now.
LOL. I knew immediately what you meant. As if Freddie would be singing with a bunch of tenors. They just don't 'have it'. No 'it' factor for me. My opinion, however.
Correction, the QUEEN!
Truhlik8I: I agree. Everytime I hear the song, I think of Freddie -- regardless of his choice to live his life HIS WAY. There are always streets & avenues. Which way was he going? I also agree that it had no person to take the guilt but himself.
A very good tribute of ten - very good, admittedly - tenors to the finest male primadonna the world has ever known. Freddie lives on!
Need Ten Tenors to made just one Freddie.... and not sure that's enough !!!!!
It's more than enough or probably way better than the original.
the voice qualities are really good... Freddie isn't the only in this song. He got many back up singers. Lol
This is the most authentic version on youtube, though i must say, NO ONE can do it better than queen! :D
One very good rendition of an incredibly difficult song to sing.
It´s not difficult to me.
Felipe Nocedal humility is is such an underestimated quality nowadays...
Jesus Christ aren't you supposed to be dead or living la vida loca in Jerusalem?
+Surfer Rosa i remember when somebody used various cartoon voices with this song lol

PERFECT! Freddy is alive thank to YOU!
Queen is the best band on the planet, and this was a stunning version of the best song in the world.
I don't care who you are, this group has got talent and they are gonna go far. Props for a job well done.
Fabuloso, voces únicas... canción también unica. Los felicito
Stop comparing ! This also is a very good version !!!!!!!
Heart ❤️ wrenching 💔
they need 10 to do this song..what a gr8 man freddie with 2 others was .....
Nah they don't NEED 10. They're called the Ten Tenors and they have ten people in the group, they could've done 3 if they wanted. But yes I do agree that Freddie Mercury, just Queen in general was amazing. R.I.P.
Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
3:51 Hahahahahaaaaaa!!!!
lol
i'm the real fan for Bohemian Rhapsody, and this will be my favorite one

omgggggg..... 4:15 - 4:33 was AMAZING!!! those high voices that were just soaring over the others... incredible!
meh... ten tenors vs freddie... they were no match for Him.
stop comparing
They don't have to be like him, voice is like finger print, everyone has unique voice. They've just done it on their way and it's good.
Excellent performance!!!
On the beginnig I thought...hmmm...another boring cover, but then...the choir part is perfect, and that change to ABBAs' Mama Mia totaly got me :-) Great :-)
The best recreation of this song I heard so far. Loved it.
exelente
This has made one queen very happy ;)
Bellisimo!!!!
Just an English comment coming through.

This must be the most beautiful rendition of this song...ever...
Freddie Mercury I think would love this version. Great Job!
Awesome performance ! This guys are good
amazing blending of voice :)
!!
In my humble opinion (after seeing Queen videos like at least once a day), I can say that they singing good. The different is they singing with 10 people but Queen singing with ONLY 1 person. ☺
Actually, they used 130 overdubs to mix the original. Sorry.
bum bum bum bum bum bum bumbumbubmubum bum bum ..... i cant even. i love it
10 Tenors... Not even close what 4 voices did...
one. Freddie recorded all the voices.
esquivel100
nop...it was brian, roger and freddie
Bad comparision... here we have 10 tenors LIVE. There are 4 SINGERS, but A LOT of overdubs and takes to create the great arrengement on this song.

Beautiful head voice
Amazing!
Freddie was GREAT! There's nobody like him, but you need to be talented to perform Bohemian Rhapsody... and these guys ARE talented!
I enjoyed it. And honestly, I think Freddie is great. But these guys were spot on. Feddie's memory lives on with every performance.
the high notes in 4:28-4:31 is really awesome!!! GREAT JOB!
Great job!!! Nice nice nice :o)..love it!
Freddie don't only sang bohemian rhapsody, he composes this song and he sang this song awesome in live!!! Much better than 10 tenors
Still the best song of all time..
Excellent. Wonderfully and beautifully done!!
Bravo!
i enjoyed Mamma Mia! That bit was fun! I love ABBA and i I love Queen, that was unexpected! Thanks 10 tenors, well done guys!

THE KING!
Tenors headbanging...priceless....
This is the best version of this song i've heard so far, aside from Queens of course.
Brilliant! The main soloist is amazing!!! =)
muy bueno el cover me encanto
I MISS YOU FREDDIE!!!!!!!
i like it when the drummer put the knights of cydonia drums variation
Fantastico! :D
Es buenisimo
i loved the mamma mia!
@stanphoenix It wasn't Freddy who sang the highest note, it was the drummer Roger Taylor
@Mike0Powell on the contrary, they have very good balance for all tenors. the high notes are not overpowering. they sound like tenors.
The Mamma Mia they threw in was disapointing, but overall very enthusiastic.
I like this cover a lot!
@MrMeinSenf It's Freddie's voice exclusively in the intro (lead and background) - however, there's LOTS of Roger and Brian in the opera section.
@kazuyamochu Why don't you just regard this performance as a compliment to Queen, who actually did use the studio to enhance the sound by overlaying tracks. Freddie would have loved this!
Excitante!
Freddie Mercury = PURE TALENT
