Good job Colorado. Bringing the Wolves back into their natural ecosystem was the correct thing to do. They will restore the ecosystem amazingly. 👍🏻
Celebration....except they relocated the only confirmed breeding pair and their pups who were "feasting on calves". The male is now dead due to being underweight and infected wounds on his legs. Pups are also woefully underweight. But please tell me more about how they were "feasting" when they're starving to death.
Did they ask local farmers if they want the wolves back.
I don't think so?
Dozens of public hearings were held both before and after VOTERS APPROVED of the reintroduction/restoration. Ranchers get free consultation and resources like guard dogs to protect their herds, AND get compensated for wolf predation.
Did they ask the wolves if they wanted to share their habitat with thousands of head of cattle before they were unleashed on their habitat?

@@dwamish did you attend any meeting on how ranchers get paid for lost cattle? unfair system, government officials deny payment to ranchers. voters were from the front range who never leave the concrete jungle.

Gee, how ever did wolves and elk manage to coexist for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans? Oh, that's right, spectacularly. 😂😂😂
They won’t go extinct.
Elk are being destroyed by development in their habitat and migration corridors. "GREEN" solar will kill them faster than wolves. Also say goodbye to pronghorn, eagles, hawks, grouse, hare and every living thing that will be plowed up, fenced and security lit.
