My Canis fly was tying a spent pattern with a CDC wing.
However, the parachute pattern is nice and easy to see!
    This video was very helpful.

i HATE when these little buggers hatch ! the fish switch on to them instantly and i can never find a small enough grey fly and when i do my leader looks like rope knotted to the tiny thing and fish ignore it .. what tippet do you use on a fly like this ? one thing is for sure for such a tiny insect the trout love em , even the big ones go nuts for them

      Morning Richard,
My fault I think I called it dry wing when it should have been Dry Yarn so I have have attached a link to it for you to see..

Love these patterns. How do you gauge how much to use of the yarn as it comes off the card for small patterns like this, or larger like the March Brown or sedge/caddis?

Another beautiful video Davie. What size tippet would you use for say a size 22 on a stillwater with large trout?

Davy,Why do you wax your thread when you cann get threads nowadays that are pre waxed . Is it just that your used to it or do you not use waxed threads.

Seriously mate, this is getting silly, what is this? 7-8 colour variations on the Dynamite Harry pattern? There are other patterns out there … , the wasp, the raccoon and the leatherman are just three other popular norwegian patterns mate.
