Gear I use:
Guitar: changes by the video. i use a lot of fender, and gibson. but feel free to ask specifics.
Pickups: all of my guitars use different pickups depending on what suits them but i will say Bare Knuckle Pickups are my favorite and preferred brand. feel free to ask specifics
Amps: Fractal AxeFX 2 for the guitar tone on my covers, lessons, and original music . i almost always use Soldano SLO100 presets but sometimes some Friedman, Orange and others sneak in.. i dont typically use real amps anymore. certainly not in my videos just for convenience.
Strings: 9-46 are my main string gauge for fenders. i'll use 10-52 on Gibsons typically. i tend to flip flop between Ernie Ball and D'addario.
Picks: i tend to use .88mm Tortex but i'll use .60mm for faster strumming songs or for Bass guitar.
DAW: Reaper for all my recording software.

TOYPAJ is such an excellent album. A shame they only added three or four songs from it to their regular setlist. Gems like Roller Coaster, Everytime I Look for You, Please Take Me Home, What Went Wrong, and Story of a Lonely Guy were only played during the TOYPAJ or Pop Disaster tour afaik. There are claims that Online Songs was played as well, but unfortunately, it was never recorded.

Forgot how good this song was...probably some of their best lyrics and the call and response vocals from mark and tom are brilliant. The guitar part is very boxcar like and you can see where tom was headed artistically

whenever I try that it just hurts my wrist and isn't comfortable to play at all. I guess after some time you could get used to it but it doesn't seem like it does a lot of good except it subjectively looks cooler
