Good stuff ya'll! It goes without saying that Michael Pixley is an absolute monster of a wrestler, but I really appreciated Alejandro's tips on the limp arm finish. Never really grasped that technique until now.
I watched this then tried it in my next no gi session and stuck it. I've only been doing bjj 3 weeks.and started bcoz I had mental health issues and watch you guys and being in the gym with all of great ppl bjj has saved my life and you guys have.
I'm an army veteran from the UK and what I see Heath has done for all you guys and girls is literally amazing. His kids must love having heath as their dad
What takedown would you go with for self defense? I'm always thinking what takedown would be best for this because I'd like to avoid my opponent hit his head on the concrete because he won't know how to fall and people die like that so you go to prison or have to pay his hospital bills. I also think it'd be best to avoid scraping the knee on the ground and a takedown where you stay relatively standing. Maybe some kinda trip where you end in knee on belly so you can disengage easily and control his hands. Was wondering what your thoughts are on this
