@@YourAuntiesCouldNever Picking Biden was strategic because ppl were wary enough of Obama as President, and Biden had been in the Senate for years and was WHITE and liked and trusted by both Dems & Republikkkans. Not sure but I believe Obama only held the Senate & Congress in the first half of his first term ie until 2010. After that any legislative progress and bills were blocked by Republikkkans. Realistically he had to be a president for everyone. Mitch McConnell actually said he was determined to make him a one term President early in his first term. However there are a few things he did do for or that impacted black ppl

3) Signed The Crack Cocaine Bill (Fair Sentencing Act)
4) Passed Health Care Reform (Affordable Care Act
5) Created The Civil Rights Division Of The Justice Department

7) Advancing Equity for Women and Girls of Colour
8) 38% increase in minority owned business with initiatives in the SBA
9) Increase in African American Judicial appointees
10) Decline in poverty and unemployment rates, increased in income helped by the affordable care act and stimulus bills
Regarding Rishi as a indian i can tell you i hate him, I'm left wing so hate anything Tory but my mum for example is so happy that there's someone who looks like her in a powerful position no matter how many times my sister and I tell her he's not for us at all or for anyone but white straight people.
