    Nice contents. I recently found this channel and subscribed immediately. I think you will get more followings if you make videos for intermediate to advanced students. By the way are you originally from syria guessing from your accent?

    Hi can you please tell me if this Arabic it is the same Arabic in Egypt ? Like literal Arabic ? Thank you 🙏

    • @popwittenino7411

      This channel is in levantine dialect. It is different from egyptian dialect. What do you mean by “literal arabic”?
      By the way if you are a beginner I recommend that you learn levantine dialect that is used in Jordan, Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. That is more authentic than egyptian dialect.

      @@popwittenino7411 thank you! I started to learn the reading of Quran and I'd like to understand and also to be able to speak understand Arabic that's why I was asking.. I just noticed that some words that I learned are not known by my Algerian marrocan friends because they know only dialect so I was a bit confused

    • @popwittenino7411
      @popwittenino7411 2 года назад +1

      Reading quran is a good thing. But even if you can read it, you wont be able to communicate with arabs because its language is so different from dialects.

    • @brianscottgross
      @brianscottgross Год назад

      The idea that arabic is one language is in fact, practically false. On the one hand, the literary language is called Modern Standard Arabic and is very close to the language of the Quran which is called Classical Arabic. In Arabic both versions are called "fus-ha". On the other hand, Modern Standard Arabic is almost a completely different language than what people speak in Egypt or in the Levant (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel and Palestine). Modern Standard Arabic is used for newspapers, formal writing, and for religious purposes. All conversation, almost all music, films and TV entertainment except news, however, will be in the "dialects" (Levantine, Egyptian, Moroccan, Saudi, and so on). So it is up to you to choose. What do you want to learn Arabic for? (Talking and music? or for Quran and news?). And with which people do you want to speak? Egyptian or Levantines? The advantage of Egyptian and Levantine is that Arabic speakers can almost all understand those two dialects well, so both are good choices. If in doubt, choose Egyptian because it has the most speakers and the most media - films, tv, and music. Even Lebanese singers like Nancy Ajram use Egyptian dialect.

    • @brianscottgross
      @brianscottgross Год назад

      @@popwittenino7411 I made the choice for Levantine because I love Beirut but now I wish I had started Egyptian because there is more media and even Lebanese national icon Nancy Ajram uses Egyptian (the word "da" and also "eh" instead of "shu")

    It's not classic Arabic so it's useless in Mauritania Algeria some places in Morocco and Tunisia in Somalia too they Don't understand that so it's better to use the classic Arabic
