The food is above average. Few items are just mind-blowing like pepper chicken masala. However food is little costly due to the location but worth it. Power backup is sufficient, never faced any power outage issues. Boat ride will take approximately 1.5 hour but in total plan for approximately 5 hours since taking tickets, waiting, drive to location and ride back. You kid would love it.
Hi Aman, From Chikmaglur do we need to travel ahead to reach Kemmangundi? I was under impression Kemmangundi is in Chikmaglur only which i have been once. And how long it takes to travel there and does maps work in hills.?
Hi Bro, Kemmangundi is indeed in chickmaglur district but its quite far from the usual tourist places in chickmaglur. The map will not work in certain parts as you will lose signal but the ways are well plotted so if you are in active navigation and loose signal you are still good to go. It takes roughly an hour from main chickmaglur market but the drive and destination is totally worth it.
