I feel it biased review. The major drawback is suspension and a 5L petrol tank. Everyone knows that whoever follows Aerox. It's powerful and very good engine but no riding comfort as suspension will hurt your back. Biased review this is.....
You're right, the drawback is Suspension, but only when driven on bad roads.
If the road is good and if taken to Highways you'll love this Suspension.
Yes, the suspension is bad if driven on rough terrain or in-progress construction road but otherwise it's pretty good maxi scooter. Also it's a 6L petrol tank not 5L and the passenger seat is amazing along with the driver seat. But it lacks storage space which can't be expanded any further. It's brakes are amazing and the autostop and ABS too. Im saying from own experience as i have ridden for 2000km and i love it everyday.
Why you are talking to much about disadvantages? Just change them. Don’t you have money for those?
I'm using aerox from 1 year and ride almost 13000 km.
Pros
1. It's always fun to ride it
2. The more you ride it the more you love it
3. It's beautiful. The more I see I still love it.
4. No heating in legs. Good room for legs. Easy to drive.
5. Drive it as long as you want.
6. Side panels and indicators nahi tutte kafi strong hain. I got hit by 2 bikes directly still no damage. I was khud not believing ki yeh scooter ki body itni strong hain. Iski jagah Activa hota toh Tut hi jata.
6. Saman rakhne ki kafi jagah hain. You can bring 2 liter pepsi, 1 large bread packet and 4 liter milk in one go.

Mujhe bhi aerox leneka man hai but mere yaha aerox ka parts bilkul nahi milta hai aur bohot mehengi hai parts premium scooter hai na parts bhi premium hai. Aur abhi aerox ki spare parts milne se bhi mahine ka intjaar karma padta hai yaha 😭 islie waiting mai hoon but activa islie pasand hai kick k wajah se aur cylender aa jati hai bas islie
@@pinkulnath9593 cylinder toh aerox pe bhi aan jayega. Back seat pe. Rakhkar bike ki tarah. Pur humare yha ab iski jarurat nahin hain. Cylinder booking karo aur agle din Ghar pe deliver timely hoon jata hain. Aur baat rahi parts ki toh yeh sahi hain ki spare parts jaldi nahi milta even in my city.

Very good bike only rear suspension very hard that’s not the issue if u r single I have clocked 15000 km in 1 and half year I have done long rides also u can take it anywhere

Yeah the lack of disc brakes and dual channel ABS is a big let down apart from the shock absorbers. Yamaha needs to rectify this or it is going the way of Honda and Suzuki. Where customers will start thinking that Yamaha gets only cheap items in India.
I love scooters more than bike. I amfully a scooter guy you can say. I ride Ather for my daily 50km need and thats awesome and very much fun. But was thinking about this for touring purpose since long. Lekin bags kaha rakkhenge bro 😢 pillion wife to rahegi. Saman to chahiye hoga. Fuel tank fir bhi manageable hai. India needs a touring scooter 😢😢😢 badly.

Great Review! I too have an Aerox (2022)and i agree with most of the points you have covered. But, just want to add a few things.
1.I have never had issues with carrying luggage and groceries. I find the underseat storage very useful.
2.The rear suspension is very stiff. I have driven it for 400-500 kms in a day and ended up with backache the entire next day. The stiff suspension helps in excellent handling though.
3. I'm getting a mileage of around 40 kmpl like you said, 38 to be precise.
4. The pillion seat is a major drawback practicality wise. Aged people cannot sit there and lack of proper grab rails adds to the issue.
5. Rear Brake is not good. Not enough bite.Since it is drum, it screams during rainy season. Have to depend on front brake most of the time. Luckily there's ABS at the front.
6.The instrument cluster is not good considering the price we pay. No turn by turn navigation, not enough connected features, I have had issues with the Bluetooth module which does not connect to my phone most of the time.
Overall, its relatively easy to live with and maintain, given that you regularly get it serviced. Rock solid reliability and puts a smile on my face whenever i ride it.Definitely a scooter to consider if one is interested in buying.

@@RAXITH_playz Depends on how you ride. Don't Expect more than 170-180km on mixed riding(heavy throttling+normal throttling in city(5000rpm+)190-200km on easy throttling(under 5000rpm) in the city and around 200 km on highway.
It gives starting problem after 1 year, u feel cheated
@@RevolutionRAM Yes, If you run out of fuel and refill and start, it wont start.You should always carry fuel with you if you're touring and if you're in the city, refuel when there is 1 point remaining. I have been using it for 2 years and I have not faced any other major issues apart from this. Maybe your battery has not charged properly or you have parked it for too long(more than 15 days or a month).Replace the battery and you should be good.
@@darkryder2434 I had the battery replaced yesterday, disconnected the bluetooth device, for around 10 kms all seemed good but when I started it in the morning engine malfunction red 🔴 light is in again and starting problems persists, although it starts repeately turning on and off

Love the Aerox unfortunately won’t buy for 2 reasons. #1 want the same legroom as Activa, #2 the seat must really be comfortable even for the back passenger. There is no point of having a scooty and my father is not comfortable to sit for a ride with me. 😢 I Wish thy make the changes as per Indian demographics
It's a performance scooter not an Indian *family scooter*. That's it. That should be in your mind when you go to buy this scooter.
Ntorq, Ray-ZR, Avenis etc have an Indian idea built into them - family will use it in some capacitu and so that's how they are built even if they are youthful modern looking scooters
Well what’s full tank average? Like long rides mai dikkat nahi ayegi kya fuel stop se? Like 30 kmpl ke hisab se 6 ltr ka tank se 180 km max ja pavoge so won’t it slow down your ride phase? Aur searching fuel pump for every 2hrs isn’t it a headache?.

I just bought. I have Aprilia sr 160 sr. The best thing with aerox over aprilia is that seating is great. Its comfortable.

first off all congrats for purchasing it.. its amazing choice... color selection is great too... most of points well elaborated but few I want to add my perspective.. I own Aerox and did riding for about 750 km now.. - surprised you did not highlight suspension - rear suspension is like a stone its not spring, it needs upgrade for sure.. front fork do bottom out on big potholes... also headlight is poorest - you cannot ride this scooter with speed more than 40-50 km in night without Aux lights... other -ve points - I think of it more as strengths actually like footrests & no front space - actually give bike level cornering abilities to Aerox.. try cornering hard on Aprilia or any other scooter and you will understand center of gravity issue.. Aerox rocks... I am also facing mirror coverage issue, stock mirrors are useless, it needs upgrade.. also it do not have break lock ... very essential feature for long rides... for that one need to upgrade break levers and add yok on it... in but general - this is only one if someone wants to buy perfect alternative to bike for long ride and want to get rid of gear shifting hassle and want one bike that can do all - city, highway, shopping, school drop, everything together... its gotta be Aerox as of now.. no competition...

Well, I would not demand a bike like performance from a scooter, instead go for a bike. Scooter is mainly preferred as a utility vehicle, easy to maneuver, easy to maintain etc. And this one just could turn few heads due to stylish looks but there are major letdown.

why guys are purchasing ladies scooty ????when there are so many better bikes to choose from in India??? These scooty are only meant for city and for light riding . If u need something durable and capable (mild offroading) then should go for good manly bikes is what i feel. anyways congrats for the scooty👍
Why go for bike if you only commute in the city? Heavy weight and constant gear change is a hassle in traffic. So this is meant for those who want the convenience of a scooter and power of a bike.

But bro it’s subjective… if you go through my channel, I also own a ninja 1000 but then for every biker at-least 600cc above a scooter is like a pain killer for city riding.
Point is- basically on the go … relaxed riding.. leads to making a choice towards a scooter. 🛵

Its not very comfortable. Need to take breaks every 50km. Rear suspension is too stiff.

Nice riding is giving me in range of 40/42 and full time aggressive riding gives around 35 or so . A combination of both you can be sure to get 38 at minimum . Yamaha's claim in Aerox manual of 48 kmpl is funny

I liked it at first sight however due to few cons like the visibility of instrument cluster in daytime is very poor, also the foot board is not flat plus the pillion seat is too narrow. So I landed to Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Street Rally. But jo bhi ho, yaham machines will never let you down. It’s super awesome ❤️
