Hi, it is now August 14, in Sacramento, CA. My little garden of green peppers, several tomato plants, Zucchini plants, watermelon, Cantaloupe, Banana Pepper and Egg plants were all doing great until July had us in 112 degrees or hotter for several days in a row. It kind of did them in. I was able to save a little of half of them, they were all producing, but not anymore. It was a little frustrating, but like you say, hey, it's ok, I've still got some produce growing and that makes me happy. Thanks for sharing. It's always so fun to see how others are doing and learning from them. A lot of homesteaders are saying the same thing. Everything got toasted from the sun so they picked what they had that survived for canning and pulled the dead ones out and went on with their business. Take care.

@@Sarah43627 maybe with a little recovery time yours might start producing again. I also know some people will rig up shade cloth to help protect from the intense heat like that.
