@TitoGuante during the race, yes, but they're also the ones building the car, breaking it down for shipment, repairing it till 3am after a Q3 crash, etc.
I'm really glad that this happened for you. It's great to see genuine car and race fans invited! Did you tell Yukl about your garage and collection? With all the limitations and the insane crowd you did great in showing us the BTS and your experience! Truly magnificent work Dustin! I was very skeptical vs the Vegas race this year but I can really see why they want to hold one there. Seeing the cars blast through the city is really spectacular! As a Dutchie I was really happy that Max won his 4th title here. If lando and the team get their shit together for next season they'll be in with a great shot! Though I wonder if Oscar will play willing 2nd fiddle like this year. I hope that maybe you can come to Europe one day to experience more classic F1 cars. The V10 sounds man....... they're something special! Finally, I truly hope this isn't a once in a lifetime experience man! On to next season!!
Lawson is a car enthusiast with a car collection himself and builds cars, Tsunoda like every other F1 driver, doesn’t like cars outside of the sport, this is very well documented
Glad to see that your experience went just as well as mine! Thank you to you and the team once again and I am forever grateful! F1 Las Vegas was a fever dream❤
I was lucky enough to be in the boxes at the Canadian Grand Prix, watching them pit is crazy in real life, not to mention the sounds and smells that add to the whole experience. Thanks for brining us along, Dut.
Man outside the stuff in Japan this might be my favorite vlog post. I can't even imagine getting to do the things you did at an F1 race, how amazing!!!
I'm not at F1 guy at al, but your enthusiasm makes the video awesome it's so great to see all your dreams come true it's very inspiring and let's people see that if you put your mind en energy in to your dreams they will come true 👍 great stuff Dut
you gotta come to Miami next season and maybe Mclaren team can hook you up with some vip tickets Edit: F1 pit stops are unbeatable, nascar is cool but F1 is on another level
@dustiinw wasn't expecting you to reply tbh. Haha. But that's awesome!! Keep up the amazing videos! Hoping the R32 and R33 come back soon. Miss those monsters in the videos.
Lowkey hate how main stream F1 is becoming these days. Drive To Survive brought all these new fans and celebrities to the sport, and in my personal opinion, it takes away from it. Been watching F1 since 2004 and miss the good ol days when it was for the purist, and not flash, posh, and glamour.
i can agree to an extent! i think it has it's ups and downs. More eyes, hopefully means more fans, which HOPEFULLY means the entire motorsport industry grows.
I agree. Been watching since the mid-90s. DTS fans unfortunately are misinformed and they don't seem to be interested enough to read up on the sport and understand it better. Being Dutch I also have to deal with the Verstappen fans for whom the sport is just that, Max. Everything else is bad, terrible and don't even dare to have a different opinion. Celebrities have always been part of F1, but right now you have celebs watching based on DTS. And then there's the Liberty influence with all the American races (with all the influencers that get invited while tickets for people who actually want to buy it are super expensive) and the races in the middle east because that's where the money is... It would be great of the new fans were actual fans of the sport, so you could have conversations with more people. But alas...
@dustiinw Unfortunately, the more growth that's seen, the more out of reach it's going to be for the regular folk. 75k is an INSANE price to be able to watch the race as a VIP. That's more than most people's yearly salary. It puts F1 in an unachievable place. Hats off to you for what most likely was a once in a lifetime experience, but that's some thing only the top 5% can really do, with the exception of the random lucky fans who win something of that nature. Lol But F1 has definitely fallen from its roots as far as it being for the love of racing, it's becoming a main stream flex oriented around the drama Netflix pedals and exacerbates. Just my opinion though, not hating by any means! Haha
*The guys in the middle "bracing/stabilizing" the car during a pit stop has to be the easiest $100,000+ a year job ever lol*
@TitoGuante during the race, yes, but they're also the ones building the car, breaking it down for shipment, repairing it till 3am after a Q3 crash, etc.
couldnt be more wrong, there also the engineers, etc, your not just, "pit crew"
