Not having a heaphone jack on the phone but having an included attachment that has a headphone jack in the box is such a great idea. The port was definitely exchanged for a slightly larger battery, or for the really good speakers perhaps.
Sir I think you've skipped a key feature i.e. programmable charging,in which a user can set alarm so that the battery is charged to 100% till that time. Like I want the phone to be charged at 7 am so I'll set it at 7 am and the phone will be charged to 100% at 7 am.

will you do one on Lenovo Legion gaming phone as well? Because if i'm honest, i like the design on that one a lot more, and performance should be about the same. I just hope it's a bit cheaper for the top specs version, since i probably won't get the top specs one from ROG, but the mid size 12 gb 256 gb (since there is a Strix version with 8GB 128gb and 865 processor(non plus) that is made to be cheaper).

What is the track record of ROG phones when it comes to software updates for major and security patches? How many major os upgrades does ASUS promise for their phones?
Wow! Gaming phones have gotten serious. This really is your ultimate gaming phone. I really didn't imagine devices like this when first Android phones arrived, though it has been clear for some time that dedicated mobile gaming devices will not sell if there is not some special hardware included like with Nintendo Switch, so mobile gaming lays with the mobile phones for the majority. On a budget I'd recommend Pocophone F2 Pro if high refresh rate is not a necessity. This like some other Xiaomi phones have a fine cooling solution. Unfortunately not all games support higher than 60 FPS, though we live the time when this is seriously getting more common. Still, I would go for horsepower over the refresh rate, because what use is the fluid screen if you can't feed it with those frames? This is an important note since OnePlus Nord is another new potential cheaper gaming phone with 90 Hz screen and SD765G which some gamers might consider.
Game Genie can show you if max frame rates are supported... no?? After 9 months on this puppy and now running Android 11... with an expected new year upgrade to Android 12, I find the Asus Rog Phone III to be just a great phone 👍 which is frikin awesome at gaming 🤘 I've installed the GCam apk & the camera has improved, particularly night mode shots. With it's overloaded specs, the Rog III will stay relevant for a long time. There's also the hidden 160 Hz refresh rate, although I find 120 Hz to be plenty. Best speakers on a phone 🤘 The Lighting Armor Case is fabulous 🤩 Best phone I've ever owned 👍
Wait I thought the regular 865 beats the iPhone 11 in antutu benchmarks in addition to having more ram for better multitasking and loading not to mention the vapor chambers in android allowing it to run longer without throttling? Faster usbc version 3 compared to slow apple usb2 based lightning. Am I wrong? Because you said even the 865+ is slower than the iPhone 11. Are you talking about single core in geek bench which is a very short and incomplete test.
I've been using a Zenfone 3 since 2016 and finally upgraded to a Poco f2 pro. Asus makes good phones but was disappointed with software support on my Zenfone. I installed lineage os and most of my problems are gone.
I have never had a IP rated phone and I live in the uk were it rains 80 percent of the time I own a mi 9T with a pop up camera and the rain has never caused any problems unless if you use your phone in a swimming pool or in the bath you don't really need a IP rated phone most phones are pretty much sealed now anyway

@@1988shyam surely. So far only three brands capable of this, rog, Samsung galaxy s¬e series, and the upcoming Lenovo Legion. Personally I think gaming phones are quite useless, let me explain: Gaming phones are a niche in the smartphone industry and they provided very small performance boosts over normal flagship smartphones. Anyone who can afford to buy this phone is likely very serious about mobile gaming. However, anyone who's serious about mobile gaming likely knows that most of the pros (yes there are pro mobile gamers) normally use an iPad. An iPad provides you with better performance than any phone or android tablet, and they have much larger displays, which is an incredible advantage especially in games like Call Of Duty Mobile. OEMs should definitely consider switching from making gaming phones to making gaming tablets, which I'm sure will make a lot of hardcore mobile gamers very happy. I probably could have explained that better but I've never been really good at explaining things🤷🏽♂️
Labelled gaming but really its just a flagship phone with gaming aesthetics and software. I'm considering getting this mainly due to the battery life with the top of the line specs. OnePlus 8 being close second. From the research i've done, redmagic has poor software support which is one reason im not seriously considering an RM5. And Samsung with it's latest ads on phones, lockout of their cloud service to samsung only devices and my terrible experience with the Tab S6, I'm not going to even look at.
The size and the battery for sure. For one who doesn’t want bigger device (like ipad), also sporting huge battery too for phone size device, this thing is way to go
Let me address some of your points. 1 Pros) Yes there are pros in the mobile gaming comunity, but they make what? %1 of the comunity? Asus would be losing money if they focus on such a small segment. 2) Other gaming phones might be barely more powerful than a regular flagship, but that is not something to come and comment on an Asus ROG phone video. this phone, as of right now, has the best screen in the market, matched with the best processor aswell, and the biggest amount of customization options to adjust this phone to your personal needs. 3) this phone might not be an Ipad, but its big enough for you to play confortably while still being small enough for you to take and play anywhere. 4) While its best at gaming, this phone doesnt underperform at anything, like pictures, looks, video... If I had $1000 and had to buy any phone, I definitely would go for this one as it has nothing to envy from any other phone except perhaps the Huawei P40 with its crazy camera setup-
