  • This Garden room was sourced from a company called Waltons.
The Garden room comes in pre-built parts that slot together like a huge puzzle. The assembly is easy, but time-consuming and does require two people as some of the parts are big and heavy.
I think this is a great garden room for someone looking to have an area outside of the house where they can relax and shelter for the UK weather.
I did enjoy building this as the results were immediate. However, I think I would have enjoyed making my own from scratch much more.

Why batten the floor and then put floorboards on the battens? Why not floorboards straight on to the base?

Air gap provides great insulation. It will also prevent damp and rot

Houses are built the same, you need good air flow to prevent damp which leads to rot.

Call me crazy but i bought myself a corded drill. Do you have a few drills and batteries to help make it quicker to do a job?
