9:48 - I don't know much about longboarding but I'm a pretty accomplished snowboarder and taking that corner like that demonstrates the extreme level of skill this fella has.. no arms flailing for balance, solid body, smooth line.. awesome..

I've been street skating regular short boards for about fifteen years now and my little brother finally got into skating but rides a long board. He learned how to slide with gloves and I give him crap about needing that third contact. That said, those were some absolutely beautiful stand ups. And beautiful hills. Looks like a blast.

Yeah, usually that part of your body dosen't get it as bad. It's usually your face or wrists or ankles. I've broken my foot and my wrist just from skateboarding (in neighborhoods!) Because I don't like doing tricks I just like going fast. This dude is absolutely incredible. Be carefull man. Turning 40 and still skate but not as much. Grew up skating neighborhood streets in Portland then bowls in the hills above San Clemente and all the apartment areas. You're making me seriously want to get a long board though, just incredible how they don't wobble and fish out at normal fast speeds.

Tom W. That completely depends on what kind of longboard you get. I have one and it’s really meant for carving and just commuting, not so much downhill riding. Too much speed with certain kinds and it can end badly.

Hands down my favorite video on RUclips, period. Like from just the simplicity of going down high speed side winding roads is such a soothing rush. One word, adrenaline. Ahhh and the music, the edits, the montage of having your friends experience it all together in this awesome part. I’ve recently subscribed and I’ve never seen such an awesome sport, this thing that you do is amazing. I honestly want to get into doing this one day. I just have to say you sir are amazing and I look forward to seeing every single video! I think it’s so awesome. When you're that skilled and as Brave this is pure fun and relaxation. Believe It or Not these guys are extremely intelligent and know what there doing but To us it looks like death waiting to happen. But I assure you this guy could get himself out of almost any jam except being in the wrong lane or someone pulling out on him...... And keep in mind all these roads are studied and well-calculated and understood at every single turn before hand... Just using Common Sense here.
