- Both UNC and JHU undefeated playing for NCAA Div.I National Lacrosse Championship at Princeton, NJ. May 1981. JHU had won the 3 previous Championships. UNC's first ever National Lacrosse Championship. UNC would beat JHU again in the 1982 National Lacrosse Championship 7-5 at University of Virginia, May 1982.

i believe that was don zimmerman as assistant coach on carolina who later became head coach at JHU and won a couple titles

Hey Jeff. Dave Aguirre Mineola 85. We played summer league after my senior year with Ken King and the rest of the boys. Do you have the rest of this game? I remember going and I'm pretty sure this is the game Cook scored like 7 goals including a controversial potential game winner at the end.
