I really miss Within Temptation's old sound, like this song. This was a demo song that wasn't released on the Silent Force album. I wish they would enhance the audio and do a remix version of this song and put it out on their next album. That would be awesome!
I listened to Our Solemn Hour about three years ago on a Tribute, it's still one of my favorite songs. A few days ago, I recently rediscovered Within Temptation, after stupidly criticizing the band for it being one of many "Screamo" bands that my friends listen to. Rest assured, I realize this isn't screamo. I'm an idiot. I understand now.
This couldn't be more relevant for what I told you I've been going through. Since 09.28.2018, I've blindly followed everything that lead to healing my co-dependecy, transmuting that into unconditional love. Trust, I am just as terrified and confused as you are, but I'll let my heart lead the way. It hasn't lead me astray thusfar. Funny how I'm just now finding this song. It just showed up on my feed a few days after revealing the truth of why I won't "take a hint." You can only brush these off as "coincidence" for so long before you see the real magic beyond the unknown.
This song really speaks to me in a way.I can relate to most of the lyrics.I consider myself to be good,but have no inconvenience being evil and merciless if the time calls for it.Eyes are the window of the soul,much can be learnt through the person through them.Inside mine you will find a soothing calm which masks a storm

Lol, okay, this is odd. I've been coming to this song every time I write about my villain in -my- book, too. I love it. It really expresses the slow dawning of comprehention that one of my characters have as they realize who the real villain behind the peice is. He has a very dangerous mind. He's extremely manipulative, but I don't want to say much else or I'll ruin it. I love this song! It's so perfect! And if I ever find "A Dangerous Mind" on shelves, I'll be sure to pick it up =D

This band is one of the best of the 21st century in my opinion, i like amaranth and sirenia and these guys just have more epic songs as a total number very few i cant relate to and dont love
This song reminds me of the little girl from my story, Grace, and her alter ego, the antagonist of the story, Zara. When Grace, her sister Kirsten, and several of their friends are transported to an alternate universe, she is kidnapped by Zara, and when Zara is defeated, she links her spirit to her reincarnation, unknown to anyone else. From that point on, Grace goes from minor to major character, slowly loosing her mind to the shadows around her. Throughout the story, she has random bursts
yw ive loved to write ever since i learned how to write. writing is a very strong subjuect for me because im able to express my feelings and love of writing. the story is going to be very intersting and mysterious.
Could be worse I didn't have any of that alone and broken, twisted, sick I digress nobody should go through this but I've grown quite fond of it, its sickening.
What I find pretty cool is that there's a song by Life of Agony, My mind is Dangerous with Keith Caputo, whom WT had done a duet in What Have You Done.. Awesome music!
