I would be interested to know how DTS / multi-channel sound is implemented with 35mm film. The 70 millimeter used to have at least 6 magnetic tracks for analog sound. 35mm I have seen optical soundtracks, but isn't it always two channels at its maximum? Or is DTS somehow coded to optical and it needs encoder?
