This was legit one of the most disturbing parts of the episode and begs SO many questions. Did Chetney actually kill and eat those children? He claims he doesn't, but it's also true that the wolf state has taken him over at times and he can't remember what happened. Or are these fabrications that Dominox wove almost entirely from scratch with a little help of bleedover memory? Either way, the next couple of episodes are going to be an absolutely insane ride as they get closer to Dominox
Imagine the insanely horrific visions Ludinus must be having. If Dominox can see Ludinus' memories of the Calamity and make them even WORSE, then no wonder Ludinus has been conspicuously absent on this trail of Dominox, when he was the one supposedly already hunting it.
@@wafflingmean4477 What would be worse, at least in my mind, is if Ludinus is so much of a sociopath that he legit doesn't feel guilt over anything that he's ever done in his life. Because if Ludinus is being held up by Dominox's visions then at least some part of him has a contience. If Ludinus is unaffected by Dominox, that'd make Ludinus like ten times more monstrous IMO. Just imagine Dominox trying to hit Ludinus with a self loathing vision and Ludinus just laughs and goes "Is that supposed to make me feel something? Pathetic."
All we really know for certain is that Dominox feeds on insecurity. I would state that, whether or not he actually has, Chetney at least worries that he has.
Travis/Chet going did I actually do this is wild.

Cherry on top would've been reacting in the wolf voice, but i get how rough that probably is on his throat lol
When I saw this for some reason I thought he totally killed his family
Not his children tho, they must be thousands
I thought Chet was a "hahaha funny old guy that is old" but holy shit they went hard.
Well, in another life he tried to kill Santa😂
@@202215jaffe521 oh yeah... forgot that.
That's what happens when you tell the DM he can fill in your backstory for you
