I live in Russia and here they put people in jail for mentioning LGBT, or just kill them. The hysteria in my country has reached such a point that recently an ordinary girl with blue hair was beaten by an adult man on the street and threatened to kill her.

I love the Pride Parade. My parents just wouldn't let me see it live. Let alone be in the Fierce event in the parade. I still love watching it on TV and RUclips. The news always has it. I can still attend the Pride Parade any time. Age doesn't matter. I'll come join the furry group when I have the chance. I haven't been active in the furry fandom so much. Hope you had a good day and I hope you stayed hydrated too. We have our life issues too.

I went for my first time this year. I marched with Happily Ever Esther Farm Santuary and I had a lot of fun. We were later in the parade and our float had a giant pink pig with pearls and bubbles coming out of her butt.❤

I’ve been at several pride parades with both straight and gay friends. The joy is infectious.
The people complaining about naked bodies and children are the same people who allow their children to play video war games. Killing is fine, human anatomy is not. Very bizarre.

Even if there are kids here there's nothing sexual or offensive happening, unless I completely missed it. I think the cringey parade stuff is an American problem, not a Canadian one.

Ahh I remember those years I used to go to Toronto Pride - my first-ever Pride parade in my entire life was Toronto 2008. One day I hope to come back over the ocean and attend again!

This used to be a really wild scene, but has become a rather pedestrian multi cause event.
Certainly a decent crowd for such a low/no budget event.
yeah, I remember attending the first few of these parades - I seem to remember they were on Church Street at one time...and yeah they were wild and raw...and the Toronto Sun was going apoplectic.
One RUclips video blogger was disappointed at the amount of coporate floats that were in the parade (and after haveing seen a bit of the coverage of the New York City parade [covered by NYC Superfriends and Bagels and Walks] that had only [IIRC] _one_ corporate float-Garnier Pharmacutical-I can see her point.)
