- This is the documentation of the delta 3D printer that I have built to print with clay. The aim of the design was to keep it simple, using basic DIY skills and parts available on the internet. Detailed information on the build is available in the studio journal on my website at www.keep-art.co.... There is also a Ceramic 3D Printing Community on Wikifactory that has been setup in support - see wikifactory.co... .
Hat's off to you sir! This is about as elegant as any 3D printer I've seen. Simple materials, straight forward to put together. Great Video!
i love how the parts are designed to no waste material, minimal but functional
With regards how much these machines cost to build there is a full bill of parts with suppliers on my website. Depending how and where you get your parts they will cost around £350 (UK pounds)
that's very reasonable!
Wow beautiful efficient design and great work man skill, I thanks for sharing your great work, I wish you successful for your hard work in your products.
Great video and an elegant design.
Others take note of how good a video can be when a tripod is used!
I like that simple design.
this helped me create my 3D pinter thanks
I think this is the chippest delta I can build.Maybe app. laser makes it much faster to dehidrate or adding iron dust to ceramic and with anti gravity magnetics for avoiding wind deformation.Great help for my delta project. Thanks for nice share..
Oh man many thank for a great video and for a very simple plan.
Wow, really cool. Seriously inspired to build my own.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... increible..... este señor sabe como hacer las cosas... mas facil que la prusa i3... super
I agree!!...."clean and simple and beatifil.." especially having the PDF files availble...Rgds..Laurie
Oh my. Exellent printer!
Amazing Work. Thanks for share.
that is a very cool build
This is one of the best things I have ever seen. What would you estimate the cost of it to be?
Love the printed pots on your website, all so full of movement. I especially like some of the trees and your early prints.
They remind me a little of some of my work, but these are not 3D printed. It would be really good to make some work this way. Thank you for sharing.
you'r the best youtuber i have ever seen
How about a 3D printer that prints in wax. Then you can cover items printed in plaster, for quick molds, that can be used to make metal objects. The wax should melt out when kiln fired. Leaving the reverse mold of what you want to make in metal.
Can i use my 3D printer to print these parts?
This is wonderful! congratulations!
Most of my videos are speeded up but deltas can be fast and if you tune your stepper motors well also quiet. My old Bits from Bytes RapMan is quieter and much more tuneful.
This was AMAZING! Keep on the good work!
thank you for this....
I d' like to try,
but I have a lot of (stupid ) questions....
Well done!!!
Nice build! Thank you!
Great much better and lower initial cost than anythink I have seen so far. ...WCH
i respect you man - many thanks
Seems like you would have better dispersion control with a a screw system rather than air.
You are Great man! Thanks, well done!!
Thanks for the amazing video!
That's excellent!
Dammit. I do NOT need a new project right now.
is your contribution incredible, I only have a problem, the software that you present you had in Google+, and this network does not work, could you put it in another place or say where we can get it?
Thank you
Google+ has closed down as you found so the Ceramic Printing community has moved to Wikifactory - wikifactory.com/+Ceramic3DPrinting. So you can ask questions of the community at Wikifactory Ceramics3DPrinting and I have posted my Self Build projects at wikifactory.com/@jonathankeep. I hope this is useful.
what was the overall price?
It will all depend at what price you can get the bits, but could be half the price you suggest.
Can we change with the filament exteuder?
thanks sir
Such a great thing...
Awesome!!!! Awesome!!!! Awesome.
Thanks man.
cool Does it have to be built for Ceramic ? OR can it use other things like wood filament and such ?
it is super cool! thank you!
Thanks for the Video! Nice Concept.
Congratulation! awesome job!
Hiii sir, i have constructed a ceramic 3d printer as same as yours but the problem is my stepper motors are not working they aren't rotating properly i will be happy if u solve mine.
Just Wonderful::::::::::::::}
Jonathan ,aonde consigo estas medidas para construir uma igual?
Obrigado.
Good project ...
Can you give me the measurements of the wooden pieces please.
where can i find these parts help plz
Hello Jonathan.... i have been trying to open the link u have given but it show a Bandwidth error
I have been having sound problems with my own videos. For some reason the sound is turned down as default! If there is a X through the speaker icon, left mouse across it and move the slider to full volume. There should be sound with this video.
Amazing
How did you drill the side holes on effector and carriages?
I didn't understand what u used for your print head pls can u explain
Very nice and informative video. How can we get the dimensions or stencil for the hardware of the 3 D ceramic printer?
Hi Jonathan currently in the process of attempting to build my own version. Could you explain what you’re doing at 3:12? And what parts are included?
fantastico!, one cuestion - the system detects when fill material or a manual? Which type of card you use for this?
I will use this video
did I say T-shirts I mean toys and T-shirts XD
Thanks for the video.
From the videos I have seen on RUclips, delta printers seem faster and quieter. Is that just my imagination or is it true?
Honored sir, I a m trying to assemble a ROSTOCK Kit that came without arm sticks. Now this model is supposed to have 50cm diameter and 100cm height workspace. Unlike Your 3D printer that look more like KOSSEL, it has square plates so even if I have program that calculate lenght of Kossel arms, I have problem with this one, specially since it came with one side 5cm shorter. I extended plates on that side and found out that it is too tight on other sides as well. Now I can inscribe circle that touch sliding bars on all 3sides and radius is 33cm. However central plate cannot reach this as there is distance from Hot end to joints on that side. So how to calculate Arms lenght? I found some spreadsheet calculator but it calculated from height of work area which look to me as upside down procedure. Anyway I cannot change workspace Diameter as it would require new skeleton, which right now I cannot afford to purchase. Please Help!
LIkewise, I did not see how You connected Timing Belt ends, I just saw You looped already straight piece of belt, shall I look again? I also did not receive any screen and somewhere I read Arduino is programmed by jumpers, which remind me on first computers and their cable connections. I also wonder if it is possible to build machine controlled from Laptop, which is more powerfull than Arduino. Likewise I tried to generate Gcode for one of my 50cm diameter objects and program told it need 437 Terabytes of RAM, which I find horrifying. What can average computer owner do in such case? Use Clouds Computing service?
Sincerely, Marijan Pollak from Croatia, EU.
where is ur stimulation? u did send a cad file to the driver to print right?
cool printer !!! :)
hi, the ceramic is "free flowing"? like no control of the flow ?
what rod leinght did you use for connecting linear bearings to the printhead
it was wonder full where did you buy the parts
você tem o projeto da montagem e peças dessa impressora 3D.
Vry nice video....but how can we get the measurements of the stencil that u have used...???
Good job👍
And Thankyou
Super
I do not have the time to help individuals but there is a Google+ Community - see plus.google.com/u/0/communities/109375785524125994679 and there is lots more help there. Good luck.
Cool
Can this design be modified to make a bigger print capacity? Thank you!
measerments of MDF and plastic parts
For full BOM (bill of materials), suppliers and build documentation have a look at the Studio Journal on my website - see website link in the video description above.
bravo !
can i use A4988 driver 3D Printer Module Stepper Motor Driver 3D printer Ramp CNC (D05)
Where can i find part for building one of my own?
bravo!!! Do you have a BOM for this?
Thank you in advance for the video :)
plz tell me where to buy these parts
no sound? Thought my head set was messed up....
How big is the printing area?
Hi, very inspiring work. Could you be more specific about the part numbers of the Techcon Systems dispensing gun you use and the cartridges? On your blog it is mentioned the TS series. Unfortunately on the Techcon Systems website I was unable to locate all the items. Thank you
I get my Techcon Systems bits from Ellsworth Adhesives in Scotland but this link shows the kit - www.techconsystems.com/Cartridges__Material_Packaging/id-TS950-3/TS950_Series_Cartrdge_Gun_Assembly_No_Retainer_100_psi_
Super. Thank you
nice but later ? printed body crashed under self weight ?
Sir. Please can you tell me what's the length of the Arm rods after installed the ball joints?
See the video ruclips.net/video/Q7ucXlnLLis/видео.html.
can i print with plastic filiament?
how to order this parts
Do you supply these items? I would like to buy if you do.
You build your own Filiament paste ?
Nice job, congratulations, so do you sell all the pieces? If yes can you please give me a link or a contact form to get more information. Thank you.
hw did you join the gt2 belt??
Really great!!
I have managed to build the frame of the with all the electronics i am facing too errors in the firmware when i try to compile it in the arduino. I i could get some help regards to the firmware it would be a great help.
i have also gone through all the videos of and wikifactory platform. I have tried to connect with you on linkedIn as well. if you could kindly connect.
Hi Dhruv, I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you are having getting the firmware to work. The information you are looking at is about 7 years old and I am afraid I do not know what changes have been made in the hardware, the Arduino and the LCD screen, and then also the software the marlin since then. I have not worked with these technologies for about five years so I do not quite know where it is all now. I am an artist and not a specialist engineer or technologist and worked out the information I needed from the internet when I was working with this technology. All I can suggest is that you try and find up to date information on the internet. The important thing is to get a version of the Marlin firmware that is compatible with the Arduino and LCD screen that you have. Good luck with your project.
@@jkpottery thank you soo much for the reply. We have managed to compile the firmware as of now and we shall upload it to the arduino once we have the mechanics ready. I had a small question in mind the stepper drivers used in the ramps. Is it possible for me to use any stepper drivers or is there any specific stepper drivers which have to be used in the ramps for it to work.
@@dhruvagarwal4426 as I said I am no specialist in the technological aspect and fortunately the ramps boards I bought always had the appropriate stepper drivers in place. I did do a bit of internet search back when I was building machines and it seems some drivers are better than others and did order some highly rated drivers and felt the machine ran better. Certainly once building a machine in Iceland we were having difficulties and after many hours of frustration found that on the ramps board under where the drivers push in are raised slots and the little metal bars had not been put into the slots! They were provided in the ramps kit but not assembled. There are so many variables, problem solving is always just a slow process of logical deduction and testing. I always had a lot of problems with the logic of the endstops so I hope those work for you. Again it was trial and error that sorted it out.
@@jkpottery thank you soo much for the reply I can help you with logic of the endstops if you still wish to solve the problems. I wouldn’t mind learning from you and big up challenges like these
What kind of ceramic do you use?
where is the g-code ? ...thank you
hey that's good idea...or we can say very creative idea..
Very interesting video. If I want to learn to make 3d printer, can you help me?
How to buy
Could you mount one of those 3d pens and make it print in plastic?
Of course! But it would be way better to just add a real extruder, then you will have a good 3d printer.
love you
How to buy this printer
Sir Ji bnaane ka maan to hota hai lekin part nhi milte.ager shop bhi btate to achha hota
Wow
