Thank you for showing me, for now i can’t use any other movesets since I don’t own a switch yet and don’t know anything else so im pretty much stuck using onslaught until then…+ im sure the vid would be entertaining
According to WhyDo, I can take someone to flavortown with mii brawler so that alone is enough reason. A whole video from Gaegal on top of that makes me wanna convert
@@comboballer yep. Quite a lot actually. Nothing like complex combo game and nice movement mixed with beating up Palu's using Obama. Nothing quite like it
Smash ultimate was my first smash game, so naturally I made a custom brawler character and I ended up maining them to this day. What kept me interested and wanting to main him was how balanced and reliable he was, as well as how you can change their moveset. Mii brawer is great and I love the character! And also I can be sans lol
6:05 okay after watching the video, yeah this point is huge and is the reason why I think miis should be considered by everyone. I can't count how many players I know that love the feeling of counterpicking, or resort to counterpicking whenever they lose, without realizing it hinders their skill growth because that time spent on maining 2, 3 or more characters could've been spent on one. Miis are that perfect middle ground where you can counterpick as much as you like while knowing your time is being invested into a single character.
Exactly, and it gets even better when you just counterpick by stage. Play a zoner and get dragged to Yoshis? No problem, just pick Brawler and suddenly you're on the best possible stage
I picked up mii brawler because I played them during the end of smash 4. Realizing how much better of a character he was made me main him when I finally got a switch last year. I've switched mains since (now, He's my secondary) but he's always stayed one of the funnest chars.
Your content has been one of the major reasons my Brawler has been getting better and it has helped me stay motivated to keep learning new things with this character. Main Mii Brawler just so you can learn from this pog channel
I've always been a brawler main, but finding your content made me far more confident in my main! Seeing your tech and strategies helped me improve my game drastically you've changed my whole game plan! Here's to another year!
I think now more than ever. Now that onslaught is an actual move and fmp's only kill confirm isn't only from landing up air, this character now has better bait and punish and high risk high reward options. Since I started playing onslaught, I've been having more fun. But yeah, now this character really has everything.
I played Miis since sm4sh. I can gracefully say that becoming a Mii roster connoisseur is really fun and wild ride with additions. Playing them is a whole other story tho, but thx Gaegal, competitively, my hopes have skyrocketed thx to this.
it’s quite fascinating how *little* people choose to main brawler or at the very least secondary them, their playstyle is flexible and is quite fun to play especially if you enjoy rush downs (basically half the cast lol), their nuance is VERY good and im very happy you do mii brawler justice for how good they can be and the versatility and consistency they have! great video
As a serious advocate of Mii Brawler, I don’t care about my results or how good they are. They fun as hell, and I love opponents to suffer. Great video as always!
I'm a pretty (bad) casual player so I toy with a lot of characters and I gotta say I love my Mii Brawler but I couldn't main them. I just vibe with ooga booga better, and that's what I can do with my guy K. Rool, but if I wanna have some fun I know that Brawler is amazing
Great video as always, and I’ve been loving the more consistent upload! Also, I have 2 questions for you, 1: What tier do you think brawler is? and 2: What moveset should be used against Kazuya?
1. Definitely top tier, but with unlimited potential if people optimize their punish game 2. Thats a difficult one. In any case I would go 13X2, but thrupper is great for interrupting close range combos, while SAK is good for keeping him away, while HK is good for preventing rage. It's difficult, but I would personally go SAK and if that doesn't work Thrupper
I started to main brawler because I wanted to check out some other Mii types other than Swordfighter. I was done with Swordfighter at this point. (Edit: oh nah I started to main the doc pretty recently and Brawler is now my secondary)
I started using it because of the Nia outfit for fun since I took the time to make a Nia mii, then I found out I really liked it's normals, and once I found my go to specials there was no going back.
I played brawler since smash 4, I never got to take him srsly until ultimate and now that I chose brawler as my main, the games a lot of fun. Keep it up
I personally think the bad matchups are too much of a pain to make it worth solo maining Brawler, but I love having a Brawler secondary because the cheese is so funny and there's so much of it. The fact that all 3 upbs can kill at somewhere around 0-50 is amazing. Also, running Onslaught for giggles is dumb but fun, because Bowsers never expect to die at 60 for throwing out upb.
I main Bowser and play Brawler when I want to do some hype strings every now and then. I use 2312 because I don't feel like learning thrupper or heli kick confirms but still want a killing special
Not a Mii Brawler main because of so many other characters I want to play, but definitely wouldn't complain if I was forced to main them. I wish there was a video like this for every character. Would've made narrowing down a main so much faster. I'm in a rambling mood so here's what I'd like about Brawler based off what was listed: Like to move and jump a lot - Definite yes. Even outside of smash I love jumping all the time, and I like being mobile. Like to mash and rushdown - I'm not sure yet, but probably yes. I've been forcing myself to get outside of my comfort zone and see if I like characters like that. Pichu is consistently the most fun character (despite it being my worst character). Sheik isn't as fun as Pichu, but they get pretty close, and like Pichu, I never feel bad playing them even if I lose (but Sheik so dang easy to play compared to Pichu, like holy crud). Inkling has been stupid easy to play well with and makes me want to improve the combos. Though I love playing all the rushdown characters. Mii Brawler is very similar to Fox in a lot of ways though, so I might just pick Fox when comparing rushdown characters. Fox was the first character I wanted to main in smash, and to this day, I still have not used him for more than 2 weeks at a time in Smash. Just too distracted by trying out other characters! Win through skill, not matchups - Yes. That's the point of a main right? Overall yes. My overconfidence often balances out skill level though. The tougher I think the opponent, the better I play. Working on it! Prefer maining one character, but like to counterpick. Not really. I mean I want to stay on one character, but loving all the characters in smash is what drew me to it... So it's difficult to stick to one character. I often swap characters to counter a character/someone's playstyle with great effectiveness when I do play more seriously though. As for dislikes Being walled out - I don't care. Every character can feel like they are being walled out when the opponent plays very well and is reading your options. Having to approach - I don't care. So much so I can't even think of anything to say here. Prefer staying on the ground - Personally, I prefer the air. Though Little Mac and Ryu have given me a much stronger appreciation for using grounded moves. Want to pick a top tier - Tiers don't matter to me. What matters is how hard the character is to play. Don't want to learn combos - I mean, I don't want to learn combos, I just want to do them. Knowing inputs are difficult when playing characters doesn't excite me at all (Sorry, Evo moment 37 does nothing for me). I like the decision making and timing in smash. Having to learn inputs just seems like an unnecessary barrier to me. So overall I feel like I could have mained Mii Brawler in an alternate timeline. There's just too many characters I love in Smash though. It's rough narrowing it down. Been trying to main Sephiroth because he combines the most features from multiple characters that were being considered to become my main more than any other character, so he'll probably fit the best. However at this rate, Smash 6 will come out before I pick someone. Just like how I couldn't really pick someone in Smash 4.
quick tip for subtitles, try to keep a single stream of words per line for example, after punctuation like commas on the _end of a line_, don't write anything else on that line, and instead continue on the next line or caption. another example is to avoid using words like "is, if, and, so" at the end of a caption, since they rely on the information succeeding it and it improves readability. a final example is to try not end a sentence in the middle of a line, unless it is a particularly short sentence. it gives the reading a weird pace to it since it can be hard to figure out the sentence pacing when they end mid line and another begins on the same line right after
I write my script in full text and then read it off, the subtitle timing is automatically generated by youtube (I'm not putting every word on every second manually myself). I can try formatting the text file differently so youtube maybe gets the difference, but idk if that'll fix it
This may not be the best way to bring this up, but another channel found FMP had some sort of invincibility once it catches an opponent. Could this (slight) make it more viable for 3+ players?
I said I wish they made the Mii Brawler broken in his movements to make him a strong character in the competitive arena with better recovery and attacks that kill 0-60%
@@Gaegel It's true, the Mii Brawler is greatly underrated by the Smash development team and deserves better tools to make it even more powerful and fun to use.
