The microphone sounds great. I love the volume level and not losing you when you walk around or turn your head. I love the precision landing with my V2. I use a bright orange landing pad. The camera doesnt pan down to look for it until about 15 meters though. Always says, Landing Pad Not Detected, then the camera pans down, it sees it, and lands on the pad every time. Just not centered. I would not try it with the pad elevated like yours was. I just had a flight on top of Mt St Helens, cloudy, lousy visibility above 100ft AGL. I was about 1500 meters away with a strong signal when the battery warning popped up saying I only had enough battery to RTH, and would I like to do that? I chose yes... It made it back with 11%. I was never so happy with the drone as at that moment. Had I kept going for range, I would have lost it for sure. The new Tele looks like fun. Thanks for everything!
Of the X8 SE series crafts.. this one is probably the best yet. It is heavy. It is not perfect.. but for the money it is pretty good. As for video quality.. it is on par with the Fimi Mini 3. It's advantage would only be wind resistance and weather proof ability. The Zoom feature does have its use but not many would use consistently. At $499 it is a reasonable price considering it's closest rivals would be almost double the price. Caution: It is a huge craft and heavy.
@GorillamansGarage well I guess the tele is abit more useful in a sense that it can take 2 different voltage batteries if IAM correct that makes it a little more convenient ..if IAM right
@@MiltonPapaioannou-qd7tf : In a sense yes. It can use all the batteries. I use my X8SE batteries on it. I guess it depends on what you have. Too bad their X8 Pro did not do well.
When I first bought the V2 x8 I used it in a similar setting as your home .. We were in Forrest clearing of say a 20 metre opening ... That thing flew 4.5 kilometres then lost signal and came back and all awhile I was surrounded by tall trees ... That was its first flight 2 years ago ..
@@MammothPaige So far it is very good. I do have some concerns over the SoLink transmission vs the RokLink . Time will tell. But the same small issues remain across their entire platform of drones.

Some RTH flights are nail biters
@@GorillamansGarageHad one with my DJI mini Pro 4. Scared the heck out of me. I keep a close watch on the battery nowadays.
It sounds great.
What is your final verdict on this bird ..!!!
After initial reviews from all reviewers it goes quiet ..
Anything left to say about this one ?

@@MiltonPapaioannou-qd7tf : some have mentioned concern over the development of the SoLink transmission and why Fimi did not stick with RokLink 4.
@@GorillamansGarage Does that make any sense ..? No
@@MiltonPapaioannou-qd7tf sorry.. just what I have been hearing.
What tablet are you using to fly?
