I always love how Tory grand plans are never "invest in UK r&d" or "provide tech incubators" but always "less regulation for big finance".

Brexit was the final nail in their coffin. They will never be able to become another silicon valley without cooperation with other countries, or at the very least the EU. @@CedarHunt I'm not saying that Arab leaders are also not being heartless in some respects, but realistically once those Gazan's leave Israel will never let them come back. Honestly, everyone going to Sinai and having Arab countries pay for refugee camps (or not) would be an amazing outcome for Netenyahu.

Usually, as soon as a British company gets big, the shareholders and board of director will just line their pockets and sell out to an overseas owners promising investment, eventually just moving the jobs overseas with them. Seen it before when German owners took over Bendicks promising investment before moving production to Germany, saw it with every British marque car, seeing it in the tech sector too with ARM recently. The UK needs to be like France. When Danone's owner was going to sell it oversea, the French government prevented it. Their government partly owns Renault to help keep some French control over it, instead of selling it to some Asian investment firm, as is he case with Rover.
So they tell the Gazans to move because they are going to attack Southern Gaza and then next thing they attack Northern Gaza? Wtf

I actually think Europe can make a Silicon Valley, but because of how high British taxes are, it just won’t be there. Maybe Italy, maybe Spain, and definitely maybe Switzerland or Romania, but not the UK. It’s not about the income tax, it’s about the dividend tax

Even the families of the Israeli hostages are speaking out saying that the invasion of Rafah is a bad idea because it puts those hostages at a HUGE risk.
They're all just playing with their own wiener, because they are utterly insane in the membrane.

They didn’t. Even when they declared it “secured” Hamas was posting videos blowing up Israeli tanks and positions in north Gaza. That’s what I don’t get; we know they have an extensive tunnel system, why are we surprised that all the destruction on the surface hasn’t stopped them from operating in all of Gaza?

I don't support the indiscriminate bombing of civilians in Gaza, nor the settler violence against Palestinians in general.
But I also wonder why there is no pressure for Arab nations to accept Gazan refugees, but there is widespread pressure on Western countries to accept refugees from all over? Israel is not going to stop, this much is clear, the next best way to save lives is to allow them sanctuary elsewhere. The West opened their doors to Ukrainian refugees, why don't the Arab world do the same for Palestinians. In both cases civilians are targeted and need to flee.
Palestinians create terrorist organizations wherever they are allowed to go in large numbers. 0 chance Arab countries let them in.

According to the wide definition of IDP I qualify as one due to political opposition I (and people like me) have faced in recent years from our awful federal government. I use to live in my home province of British Columbia, Canada, but I was forced to flee to Alberta, Canada, last year thanks to Alberta passing a law to protest us from the federal government targeting our human rights here in Canada while my home province has chosen to remain silent in this trampling of our rights. By remaining silent B.C. is endorsing the oppression of the federal government, while Alberta is firmly on the right side of history by actively protecting its residents from the federal government. This highlights a very sad state Canada’s so called human rights status and democracy have become under Trudeau.

It's urban warfare, civilian casualties are always higher than combatants. In Iraq it was about 2/3 in battles like Fallujah or Mosul.

Israel is killing untold amount of civilians for a military goal that is not realistic. If Hamas forced Israelis to constantly move around every short while to end the occupation, then Israel would cry anti-semitism and "this is not resistance". But it's alright when the Palestinians they see as subhuman does it, even though this is not self-defence.

1:18 you are still repeating the HAMAS reported numbers even after the UN itself has corrected it to be much lower. and reporting total casualties instead of innocent vs combatants is painting things in worse light than they already are.
The UN number you are likely speaking of is confirmed dead, as in a dead body was recovered, identified as a person, and attached to a name. There are still many thousands of people dead buried in the rubble.
The health ministry for the past 20 years has been proven correct every time in terms of accuracy.

Many populations of possibly "pure" Native genetics as well. In South America natives weren't completely eradicated but what popularions did survive instead mixed with Europeans for the most part.

Israel is attacking northern gaza because that's where the gazans are. It's not a difficult pattern to recognise, they've been doing it for months.
Israel let Palestinians to move to the north in order to conduct the operation in Rafah with minimal civilians casualties. Then Hamas shot rockets to Israel from northern Gaza. What Israel supposes to do? We are done with accepting those rockets anymore.
Also, Israel suggested to give Gaza to local families to run. The moment Hamas threatened to behead them, they all refused.
