Keep it up. Great review considering the amount of time you had, Ben. I have an X3M Comp. It dyno'd bone stock at 545 brake hp. I traded a modified F80 M3 Comp on it, because I live in SE Idaho and Provo, UT. I honestly thought that M3 was fast. But putting all the power to the ground with four wheels? Not even close. I wore out the rear tires in 3000 miles. The car does everything almost perfectly. So comfortable. Amazing seats. Tons of space. The interior is so masterfully put together. The materials are sublime. Every single person who gets in it, without fail, comments that it's the most beautiful interior they've ever seen. I have the quilted Tartufo with Alcantara. As you noted, it's very very quiet inside, until you unleash the hounds of hell. Mileage? Hmmm. On a recent trip through Yellowstone, I averaged 27 mpg, rarely going over 75mph.. That said, when you have it in Sport+ and drive hard, you'll easily get 10mpg, or less. You might say, "Just back it down to Sport, or something." Trouble is, you can't. "Just say no" is no longer in my vernacular. The speed is beyond belief and has cured me of my substance addictions.
Nice succinct review and you got the main point right that seems to confuse so many other reviewers: this is a sports car first, SAV second. No it’s not too stiff, most reviewers just can’t seem to comprehend the intention behind this vehicle. If you want an SUV that is also fast, look elsewhere If you want a sports car that is also happens to be able to haul your golf buddies and their gear or can bring the family on a road trip. The X3M may be what you’re looking for.
@@BenHardyCars My X3MC has destroyed numerous 63s of any variety, as well as Trackhacks, as well as Camaro SS ZL2 1LEs with mods. It's traction and speed, especially in the mid boggle the mind. But, so does the 10mpg. My car dyno'd at 545 brake hp bone stock, before I installed the BMC F1 filter, and started running 98 octane fuel. Now, it's capable of light speed. I changed tires to the Michelin Pilot AS 4, which helped the ride, but dulled the car's razor turn in. Tradeoffs, right? It's the best car I've ever owned of any brand.
Idk man…but here in Halifax Canada ..bmw have become more expensive then Mercedes Benz and it’s crazy prices and it’s only one bmw dealership here so I guess it’s better go to USA and buy it there or Toronto a bmw x3 m 2021 worth now $85k 17k km
No, it's not worth the price tag. BMW needs to literally cut $20K off the sticker and then I'll consider a purchase. Considering the car loses $15K the second you driver off the lot is not a good thing. I might consider the full MSRP if BWM offered both a 5 year or 65,000 miles factory warranty and included a free maintenance plan for those 5 years.
@Hamish Carpenter Was just to small for my needs, couldn't get certain options that you can in the X5 and 6, but I do prefer the X4M to the X3 and X6. It's a much better looking coupe than the X6 imo. I don't really like the rear end of the X6.
you can buy a used C6 or C7 for $10K then spend $5k on suspension and tires. Youll never have as much fun for so little $$$ and its fairly durable if you dont bounce on the rev limiter 24/7 . Beamers, aren't they meant to impress in-laws when going to dinner and the frantic trip to therapist afterwards? C7 , F'ing inlaws can have cold pizza and beer, im takin the C7 mule drifting...call me when they leave.

I like Ben "Hard of hearing" ----nice guy.
Good review ben ,which car would you choose the BMW x3m or the mb c 63s.???.
Haven’t driven a c63s

2023 BMW X3 M Competition 50 Years Special Edition!
Although it is “AWD” the load is at the rear wheels so you will burn through rear tires like there is no tomorrow.
Jaguar F-Pace SVR, not only quicker & fun to modify, has that V8 supercharged SOUND that just is PRICELESS 😮
Is it reliable?
X3M is faster.
The f pace SVR does the quarter mile in 12.1 while the X3M does 11.6
@@Joe-eg7ml nope, its a jag.
x3m beats that svr easily lol
SVR does sound better, but the X3M is the better buy overall.
Nice review
Ben how do you rate the comfort of a kia k5 gtline compared to competitors in its segment
I’d say it’s pretty solid
@@BenHardyCars what about compared to a bmw 3 series

I love the BMW X3 M Competition and it's so nice and luxurious 😍🔥
Good color, you don't see the dirt that much. 😁
@Brian Lee Mine is in Black Sapphire Metallic and it really shows the dirt. During pollen season I need to wash it almost every other day.

Can you please review the X6M
Ok
I didn't think it was. It's nice but I passed on it in favor for the M40i.
Which is faster...this x3mC or a porsche macan GTS?
X3MC is faster because it has about 70 more horsepower. Quarter mile time for the X3M is 11.6 and 12.1 for the Macan GTS.
@@jehadwadi8213 yea the wife likes the X3mc much better than the porsche.

Are the M still made in Germany?
All SUVs are made in the USA, even the Ms. The sedans are over seas. I’m picking my X3M from the factory in December. Can’t wait!
