A tip for blending latex. Put a darker brown on top, then add foundation. The darker brown will offset the yellow of the latex, and darker colours are easier to cover than lighter. Also don't use spirit gum on top of a bodypaint, the spirit gum has water in it which will mess with the paint and make it harder to apply your prosthetic.

Why not go all the way and adjust for the fact that mermaids would be marine mammals and thus do not have scales. He may also replace the pearly pimples with barnacles for a more biologically correct look.

Also was it just me who was thinking that mermaids should actually be pretty pale because they live most of their lives deep under the ocean. And I mean I know they go out and stand on rocks and stuff but like they should still probably be fairly pale right. What do y’all think?

Why not go all the way and adjust for the fact that mermaids would be marine mammals and thus do not have scales. He may also replace the pearly pimples with barnacles for a more biologically correct look.
