Thank you for your video!! I'm going to have my interview this Thursday for the Mandarin tour position. I'm thrilled for this opportunity, but also super nervous since I‘m going to do this interview in my second language! Your video helped me feel a little relaxed!
@@ticketyblue3080 I almost got the job, it went as well as I expected. The hiccup though was that my current school schedule conflicted with the hours they were looking for retail but they encouraged me to reapply by the end of May when I'll be out of school by then.
I got a phone call today by universal telling me I had a interview on Friday at 3:45!! :)) And that they would send me a confirmation code for your interview. Do you have to show them the confirmation code? Or no cause I still haven’t received it yet and I’m just worried if they’ll ask for it that day
If you’re driving in you’ll just show them the interview confirmation e-mail and they’ll let you park for free. I don’t recall a code of any sort, the email is really just to show to parking. Once you park and get to the talent office you don’t need a code or anything, you just come in and let them know your name and what time your interview is for and they’ll check you in.
@@desiregarza6926 thank you so much!!! I just got my interview time stamp for tomorrow morning, where do they have their talent office? Very nervous cuz it's a huge place and I'm gonna get lost easily
So you’re gonna go up to the City Food level of city walk, next to firehouse subs is an additional seating area, you walk through that all the way at the end where there’s that circle in the middle you should see the talent office to the left
I just had a phone interview tomorrow and they said they would call me 2-3 days for an in person interview fingers crossed 🤞also does it take long to hear back ?
So I’m releasing the video for interview tips on Friday, but, a helpful tip, prepare to stay longer than 15 minutes, both interviews I waited for an hour before they were able to interview me and onboarding is immediately after if you’re hired so it might take 2-3 hours, good luck! 🍀
@@van1814 all they really asked was why I was interested in that position, the interview itself was really quick and if they offer you the job you’re pretty much hired on the spot and just have to wait afterwards to fill out paperwork
It always depends on what they’re looking for, but probably not because we are heading into peak season and they’re looking for open availability at the moment, you can still try though
So I went over the questions they asked me in a following video, for integrity of the interview process I chose not to give the specific scenarios they gave me just because I don’t think I’m allowed to share those
Congrats, I recently got hired as well and start training next week, I’m so excited.

Was the interview itself around 15 minutes? Or was it a longer interview?
@@DLR-Creative the interview itself was probably 5-10 minutes
i have an interview next week, do you remember the type of questions the interviewer asked?

Hi how long did it take to hear back after you applied?
I believe a week or two from applying and then immediately after the interview
do they hire people who can only work 3 days a week? Fri-Sun?
It depends on what they’re hiring for, if it’s for school they might make that exception
Will they hire someone who can only work weekends ?
