He had said in the video when he bought it that he would probly drive it and do some other things with it for a bit before he made the plunge to part it out which is what I would do also. I’d enjoy the thing for awhile before I started stripping it also. It’s too damn nice of car to not enjoy for a bit and if I’d come across one in that kinda shape for $10k I’d buy it in a second and enjoy the hell out of it!! At least till it had issues that I couldn’t get parts for then I’d do the same thing and part it out and make some money on the damn thing. Take care my friend and be safe out there!!
Very helpful, thanks. If the interior door buttons don't work (find out how to operate the manual release at the rocker area) try actuating the Lock Button on drivers door a few times. Worked for me. My trunk lid will not stay open when top is UP but will when roof is Down. When I prop it up for 20 minutes it will stay up but immediately start to lower if I touch the Drivers Door switch. Obviously does not need struts. Comments?

I know and don't expect they can answer all of them but at least....what... 40% or 25% or maybe even some... Oh but not here. I think there were 50 comments and the only one that was responded to was the one made by the Wizard. Retired sparky here. You should be able to get a micro switch same size ( most have 3 studs due to common. normally closed & normally open contact ) from several electronics stores for under $10. Take measurements of old & replacement micro switch. I always keep a dozen or so in my truck. Sometimes had to drill new holes.
Love the ETC. Is there a switch on both sides of the Luggage Barrier? My '08 with 33k miles is worth about $62k Cdn now. Great ride. Subscribing. I recently read that a headlight was going for 7k U$
My top is fighting for it amd making a loud electrical sound....thought it was the trunk struts replaced and top is still fighting but with an electrical zing....HELP?

How long has this been in the fleet? I've been eyeing the XLR for years but have never gotten past some of the negative reviews.

I've cut and caped the switch wires, still no response. Prior to this prob I was getting a top not secure message

My old man had an 06 XLR V new. That trunk had issues from the get go. The trunk would rub the paint on the bumper. Like wasn’t aligned correctly.
Simply adjusting the Rubber stops up would solve that. Mine did the same thing.
