Although, not only did it get rid of the lock screen, it instead took me to the factory reset page! And guess what's there? The icloud activation page. I decide to use the whole "Disable iCloud login" method and it doesn't even work, keeps buffering at 23%. Then shortly after, it asks for me to register again. I use my registry login and it says "Sucessful Registration", I try using the method again and it prompts me to register again. Absolute bullshit, this doesn't help you at all.

He went to apple to try to get it fixed but they need him to log into his apple ID which he does not know he also does not know his password. They changed it a while ago to stop people from getting into stolen iphones if you are unsure about the apple id contact apple as its extremely hard to bypass an icloud or activation lock
