Stinging nettles and brambles are a nightmare this time of year, really need to carry a machete to hack through them. Have there been many big cat sightings on the island? Assuming that Tesco have run out of strawberry laces this week? Nice one cool dude
There have been quite a few. Rumours are that something escaped from the local zoo. The owner used to walk his tigers on the beach, so they are probably not unfounded.

Hey Cool Dude Marek, thanks for another great walk. I feel like you're so 'big' now that adding comments must be quite a burden, but this walk upload coincided with my wonderful grandma's funeral and it put me in mind of the walks we used to go on together when I was a kid. She was so brilliant, I used to pester her to come on walks with me every day we were together and our walks took us through all sorts of paths. We were used to wearing long trousers and knee-high boots, and beating back plants with big sticks or holding our arms up to avoid nettles and brambles. I'm sorry for your poor legs and hope they're recovered but I thank you for reminding me of such amazing times with the best person I've ever known. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I keep typing in and what I get is 👻 :(
I am sorry to hear about your Grandma. I hope you are doing OK. I am glad you have great memories to think back on. I think about my grandparents a lot, and like to think that my memories of them are a way of them living on forever.
My brother works outside a lot and always says the stings from nettles are always much worse earlier in the year before the plant starts weakening. I think my legs must have sucked up most of the venom on that route.
