If your take the baffle out of your bike when you lean off the throttle the dirt from the tire, and fumes from everything including some smoke will come back into your pipe and your engine that makes you wear your bike out a lot quicker
A new bike does not smoke and if it does you got worse issues than a baffle. Plus smoke going back into the engine wouldn’t do anything at all to your bike. Also dirt does not get in the exhaust at all. If your exhaust is sucking air you also got some bad problems with your bike.
The exhaust is a EXHAUST not a intake. It doesn’t suck air in it only blows air out. It will not suck dirt or smoke in the engine.
The ONLY thing that will happen when you remove the spark arrestor is the bike could run more lean which wouldn’t be terrible on a bike unless it’s already running lean and if it is again that’s another issue you’ll have to fix that the baffle isn’t causing
Removing baffles in an exhaust system can either improve or reduce performance. Baffles in radiators, fuel tanks, oil reservoirs, and air flow controls are there for a purpose too. Removing them may result in overheating, fuel starvation, oil starvation, or other problems
@Mtbxmxunduro it will either increase or decrease the performance. Removing the spark arrestor will not effect anything else other than back pressure

Around 3k you could get a fuel injected 250/450 in pretty good shape. Around 2k you could get a good 230 or something similar. Those 230s are extremely reliable!

Thank you! Also In this video it was extremely windy out so when I dropped back a lil and started to let off the throttle a lil it would about blow me over unless I was in the throttle lol. I was definitely chasing them a decent bit.
Also I’m Currently still trying to get over a lil bit of fear from a few months back when I broke my tail bone. I still have back issues because of it lol

Had 2 and don’t like them. Had a 08 and a 2014 model. The power delivery is different than I what I like and they make you feel like you sit so dang high up. Also I don’t think I’d wanna go back to kick start after having e start for a while.
Do the police bother you?
In 17 years I’ve had one encounter and it was entirely my fault lol. I had a GSXR 600 doing 130mph+ passes on holler roads around houses at 1am. Other than that never had a issue

Which bike you think is should get a yz 125x or yz250x
Personally I’d take the YZ250X. My buddy has one and they’re awesome, plenty of power and can lug pretty good. The 125X takes a bit more to get through some things that the 250X would lug through but it’s just as reliable and almost the same amount of top speed
