34:31 - missed lethal here this turn I do believe against boggles 😏 Love your content dude, I do also love to brew; pauper is an amazing format even though the affinity meta can feel quite oppressive. Faceless Butcher is a cool brewable with devotion(also being able to effectively bounce Garys for extra points too), as well as Dauthi Slayer, attempting to run a small pestilence package. Dunno though, it feels like it's closest to its strongest version here, the only flex slots being the doors, but bringing 2 dev for 3 mana in a no creature body is where you wanna be already. So I dunno. Deck feels like it's already doing what it needs to. Plus the doors give another avenue for giving the rats death touch in fringe situations.
Great video. So fun! Sign in blood its not helping too much. The red deck and affinity take advantage of sign in blood and the room. Anyway. This was fun. Congrats on the build
@@TeasdaleMTG word. Theres some make up life gain in candy trail or lembas, but no sinergy with the rest of the deck. Maybe life lands or a tendrils of corrup. Theres no clear option. 2 echoying decay main deck main stop the crazy turn 3 bushwalker for 10
@@saicosaico8542 So with nightblade in play and combo assembled, because the tresspassers curse is ETB before that resolves you put the glee on next and the leave trigger of nightblade. Nightblade resolves opponent loses one gain one the glee trigger resolves the broodscale makes a 0/1 tresspasser trigger goes on the stack, before that resolves sac the 0/1 again rinse and repeat
@@TeasdaleMTG i woudnt Play it because of glee. I find it to be good against heute weenie, kuldotha, Elves, Even madness or Gruul. And its adding devotion.
@@TeasdaleMTG btw I usually find that useful because glee often relies on infinite mana to delve into the deck to find the wincon payoff. And with trespassers curse it must start the combo with all the three pieces and cannot limit to lizard+glee
I didn't think it was a winning line, i see it as putting a bandage over the situation. I gary hit them for 7-9 and gain that much, they still can attack for 6. Maybe i should have to encourage their burn out of the hand, to follow up with rats. So maybe it was so safe it was the correct play 😁 Im trying to think what i was thinking back then to answer your question 😅
@@TeasdaleMTG I think that line was the winning line. Against any deck with burn not losing is a path to victory. If you manage to waste their resources you can eventually win. And you had the blood fountain in hand, to drain them again for like 7-9, so inevitably you would win that game. They cannot block you from Gary nor destroy enchantments, so it is a guaranteed drain everytime.

Congrats on 1500 subs, man!
@@RoyceCCG Thanks alot!
I like running duskwielder for the red matchup. It’s a good blocker for 1 that can also gain some life when it boasts on a clear board after a sweeper
Love your channel, my man. Keep it up!!! o/

Yeah I know just the room would of been fine, but no other good draw in black (that doesnt take up half your deck)

Nice Video! why wouldnt you run Trespassers Curse? at least in the sideboard...
@@hanze-b5y i personally dont find tresspassers curse a useful hate piece against glee as you can still combo off and combo through it 😁
I didnt know that. How? I dont understand some trigger stacking @@TeasdaleMTG

At 5:43 why didn't you go for the Gary? You were worried you could die from burn, so you understand the matchup. I think that was the right play.

Grixis Affinity needs a nerf. I think it would be healthy for the format if they banned Myr Enforcer.
I disagree
