My favorite plant in your planted aquarium is most definitely the Crypotcoryne wendtii! I’m honestly shocked y’all are in my hometown! I can’t wait to meet you all!
The saltwater 125 is gonna be awesome. But just so you know the fish you have in there is a Caribbean black cap basslet, not a dottyback. If you paid for a dottyback your in luck because the black cap basslet is a 100$ to 150$ fish where I'm from. Good luck with the reef one fish that I really enjoy in my reef is the red spotted sand perch. It haves very similar behavior to a long nose hawkfish without the semi aggressive nature.

Man, kinda wishing I had found you back when triple crown was going on so I could see your room in person while I was in KY. I will caution you on the Sentaniensis - a LOT of the Sentani out there are not the true fish and are a fasciata species, the only way to be certain is by counting the rays on the dorsal and anal fins. The only confirmed good source in the US currently is Marcel W (aka Roseline17 or Marcel's Fish on get gills). Just a heads up. Beyond that fish room looks great and if I ever get a chance to visit KY again I'd love to tour the room and babble fish with you.
As for the Malanda rainbow (Williams Creek), I can give you some details! This was the second fish saved by the Rainbow Conservation Fund (the first being Running River). It's natural habitat saw someone release a non-native rainbow into it, likely splendida, and the population began to hybridize. The RCF folks who work with University of Canberra and Peter Unmack, remove pure samples of the fish, bred them out and released them into a new habitat where they were safe from hybrization, but within their native watershed - effectively preventing extinction of the fish. There's a great video out there about the Running River rainbow on their process and it's a similar approach taking with the Malanda.

@@prestigeaquaticsfish Fantastic - I would argue Marcel is the best rainbow breeder for quality and quantity in the US right now - dude is a wizard! If I know I'm headed back to KY, I'll for sure hit you up, I have a good friend in Louisville, so it's a reason to visit!
