on the basis of what? speed? efficiency? I am old and slow and do not need fast for large bucks! I have a cheap electric HF 5 ton splitter for 15 years now and if it ever craps out will go buy another!
I just bought the 6.5 ton yardmax log splitter and it doesn’t have a stand or a table. Not sure why they sell the cheaper model with both included. You can’t even buy them from the company. I have to build my own
I have a DR electric rapid split and it is so much better than hydraulic splitting. I still have my old DR 6 ton hydraulic also, but the rack and pinion system destroys bigger logs and so much quicker.
